The Father of Glory Awakens You to the Consciousness of the Supernatural Within You!

“So he answered, ‘Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.’
And Elisha prayed, and said, ‘Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.’
Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.”
2 Kings 6:16–17 NKJV
In the days of Prophet Elisha, the king of Syria surrounded the city of Dothan with a mighty army to capture him. Early that morning, Elisha’s servant looked out and was terrified by what he saw an overwhelming force encamped around them (v.15).
Yet Elisha remained calm and confident (v.16).
Beloved, both the servant and the prophet saw correctly but from two different dimensions.
🔹 The servant saw the natural reality – the visible army, the threat, and the danger.
🔹 The prophet saw the supernatural reality – the invisible host of heaven surrounding and protecting them.
Both were right in what they perceived, yet their awareness determined their response.
The servant’s natural consciousness produced fear, while the prophet’s supernatural consciousness produced faith, boldness, and rest.
The difference between fear and confidence/ despair and dominion, is not in the situation but in the awareness we carry.
The key to shifting from natural to supernatural perception is found in Elisha’s prayer:
“Lord, open his eyes that he may see.” (v.17)
This is the same prayer the Apostle Paul echoed in Ephesians 1:17–19 —
that the eyes of our understanding be enlightened to know the hope, the inheritance, and the exceeding greatness of God’s power toward us who believe.
When your spiritual eyes are opened, you cease to react to what’s happening around you and start to rest in what’s true within you: the indwelling Christ, the Spirit of the Father, and the quickening power of His resurrection!
Your continual receiving of the abundance of grace, joined with the prayer for enlightened understanding and the confession of faith, will translate truth into experiential reality.
Beloved, remember —
You are always the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!
🙏 Prayer:
Abba Father, open the eyes of my understanding. Enlighten my heart to see the unseen — Your mighty power working in and through me. Amen.
💬 Confession of Faith:
The eyes of my spirit are enlightened. I live conscious of the heavenly host and the indwelling power of Christ.
I refuse to fear! He who is in me is greater than those who are against me.
I reign today in confidence, boldness, and rest — for I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!
