“If there is a messenger for him, A mediator, one among a thousand, to show man His uprightness, Then He is gracious to him, and says, ‘Deliver him from going down to the Pit; I have found a ransom’;”Job‬ ‭33:23-24‬ ‭‬‬

This is one of the most powerful passages of the Scripture that brought in me the mightiest revelation of God’s righteousness. This has thoroughly revolutionised my life. Today, this revelation is set to bring in a great revolution in our neighborhood & beyond .

What does it say ? If you want to experience God’s unmerited favor and deliverance from pit which is diseases , demons, decay , destruction, delays and even death, you need to first know and experience His uprightness(Righteousness). This is revealed in the gospel of Christ ( Romans 1:16,17).

This whole month of December, we have been gaining understanding of the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus – that you are the righteousness of God in Christ. Christ is your T’sidkenu (Righteousness) . Righteousness of God is a free gift given to the entire human race without discrimination. God’s super abounding grace works through His righteousness. He had forgiven all your sins, be it omission or commission or transmission in the past or present or future. Thankfulness is as a result of experiencing His unparalleled, unfailing, unconditional love for you.
He has not lowered His standard of His holiness because He has found a ransom who has paid for you and me very dearly and His name is JESUS! In this regard , God is truly righteous in making the sinner righteous.

My dearly beloved, as we come to the last day of 2021, let’s lift our hearts in true thanksgiving for His righteousness that is revealed in Christ. Let’s confess, “I am the
Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.”
Let’s proclaim Jesus Christ is our Jehovah T’sidkenu & thereby become a true mediator , one among a thousand to show mankind His righteousness! Amen 🙏

“And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.” And he said, “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.” And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.” Luke‬ ‭23:41-43‬ ‭ESV‬‬

The revelation of His righteousness is perceived in the gospel of Christ.
Here are two criminals who were sentenced to crucifixion along with Jesus. One of the two understood the purpose of the suffering of the Lord Jesus on the cross – “but this man has done nothing wrong”- yet, the Just Man was suffering crucifixion. For what ? For the sins of the criminals. This understanding of one of the criminal’s led him to pray to Jesus to remember him when Jesus is resurrected and comes to His Kingdom. The criminal believed that Jesus was dying for him and will return back through resurrection.That’s Gospel! And look at the divine response that came instantly, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise”. Hallelujah!
Praise Jesus !

My beloved, Jesus didn’t die for that criminal alone, but He died for the whole world ! Unfair, unjust wrong was done to Jesus so that right can happen to us. He willingly received our punishment. This is Jesus’ righteous act on the Cross. This is Jesus’ obedience to God to usher in salvation to the whole world. This is God’s righteousness!

When this truth sinks into our hearts, true praise and adoration will well up from within our hearts unto God . Amen 🙏

“Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe,”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:28‬ ‭ESV‬‬

We can’t thank God until we receive from Him first. Our gratitude swells up when we receive His blessings first of all.
Therefore , I need to ask myself , “ Am I receiving from God sufficient enough for my thankfulness to become spontaneous?”

Secondly, it’s equally important what I should be primarily receiving from God that will result in true worship of God in awe & adoration?
The above verse says it all ..”receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken.” This is in line with Mathew 6:33 which says “ Seek His kingdom and His righteousness “ . So, we are to receive His Righteousness / His Kingdom governed by His righteousness. His Righteousness is revealed in the gospel of Christ ( Romans 1:16,17). Gospel means , Christ died for our sins, He was buried and He rose again for us( 1 Corinthians 15:3,4) to cause us to reign in life through Jesus Christ ( Romans 5:17).

My beloved, God wants us to reign in life instead of death or sin or sickness reigning.
When we continuously receive His abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness, we begin to experience God’s power in the areas of our need. We are always overwhelmed by His generosity, since He exceeds our expectations all the time , resulting in gratitude swelling up in our hearts and true worship abounding in godly reverence. Amen 🙏

“So Jesus answered and said, “Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine? Were there not any found who returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.”” Luke‬ ‭17:17-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“Your faith has made you well” – many a times I thought about it and even preached that we need this kind of faith demonstrated by our actions to receive our healing and in this instance we need to also sufficiently thank God to see healing / blessing in our lives.
Sometimes I preached even saying that we don’t see blessing because of lack of thanksgiving in our lives. Until one day the Holy Spirit graciously dawned upon my life to enlighten the truth.

Did this leper get his healing before thanksgiving or after thanksgiving? It is before thanksgiving!
Then what is his faith that the Lord Jesus is commending him of ?
It’s believing in the Righteousness of God which is only in Christ Jesus! The New Testament faith is referred as Righteousness of faith or Righteousness by faith . This Leper saw/ perceived/ discerned Jesus as his Righteousness ( T’sidkenu) .
My beloved when you receive God’s Righteousness as a free gift and not as a reward and confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus , you will see manifestation of God’s Power. You will automatically thank Jesus , praise Him and worship Him with all your heart.

Let’s reflect on instances when we received our blessing when we confessed that we are the righteousness of God in Christ, we will find thanksgiving springing up immediately & filling our hearts, even as we come to the end of this year. Amen 🙏

“So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God,”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭17:14-15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Out of the 10 lepers who were healed, only one returned to thank God with all his heart. His thankfulness was spontaneous, with reason for healing discerned . He knew he was not a Jew and yet got healed . He knew that he was not worthy to be healed and yet Jesus healed him. He knew none of his right deeds/ good deeds got his healing rather it was the righteous act of Jesus that healed him.

My beloved , as we are in the final week of 2021, let’s reflect on our blessings which are only due to the righteous act of Jesus (His blood has made us righteous) and express our true gratitude to the Lord because thankfulness can’t be manufactured but it’s the spontaneous overflow of the heart .

True thankfulness comes from our heart on the realisation of His righteousness that resulted in unheard and untold blessings in our lives, just like this leper who got healed & returned to glorify God. Amen 🙏

“I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people”. What a great salutation from the angel!
Good news of great joy to ALL people, yes my beloved, the birth of Jesus Christ is the greatest good news to all people without discrimination of creed, caste, color , culture or country. Wow! That’s really good news!

A Saviour is born not to bring a set of rules to follow to win favor with God. But a Saviour is born to save us from all that had crippled us in life and to usher in complete restoration with a brand new life style, resulting in great joy. Hallelujah!
Today is your day my friend! He turns all your sorrows into joy !
Jesus is your righteousness. He is Jehovah T’sidkenu ! Rejoice !! Amen 🙏

“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.” “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭1:21, 23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Christmas marks the birth of God’s only begotten Son. This Eternal God stepped into time in human form so that all human beings in all generations can experience God as who He really is and not as defined through stories told to us in the past.

God is love and loves to be with us in a personal way. He sent His Son Jesus to save us from sins and every negative impact of sin and to declare us righteous forever. This righteousness of God is given to us as a Gift. This one gift can completely transform our lives inside out and usher in all His blessings upon us and our household.

Let Jesus be your Righteousness ( T’sidkenu) and on this account, God will turn all your sorrows into Joy, sickness into health, lack into abundance .

The greatest delight you can give God is to receive His free Gift of righteousness and confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Amen 🙏

“In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.” Isaiah‬ ‭54:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The only antedote for sin is Righteousness! The power of darkness operates on the ground of sin and sin consciousness. The devil wants us to feel guilty so that he can induce fear, terror and oppression. Oppression includes sickness( both physical & mental) Acts 10:38.
God’s solution for us is to establish each one of us in righteousness of God in Christ Jesus which is to continuously have righteousness consciousness.

Gift of righteousness can also be called as Gift of clearance from all guilt. When you receive this gift and keep receiving it especially when you miss it or mess it , you keep the devil’s major weapon called condemnation away from you. Thereby, oppression ( sickness ) , fear and terror will be far away from you and your children.

Keep confessing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and leap over every hurdle that comes your way victoriously. Amen 🙏

“In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭54:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What a glorious revelation that ushers in the awesome blessings of God !
The revelation of God’s Righteousness is what is needed desperately today.
It is one thing to know His righteousness but it is altogether another to be established in His Righteousness. Hallelujah!

The primary revelation of His righteousness is that God doesn’t wait for you to perform good so that He can declare you righteous. If this be true, He has to endlessly wait because as Apostle Paul says, “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells” Romans‬ ‭7:18‬

Unless we learn to receive His righteousness as His gift to us ( the most wretched sinners), we can never receive His blessings ! Christ shed His blood and made you righteous. Do you believe this ?( I am not asking whether you know this but believe )
When you are truly established in His righteousness, three things will surely happen 1. Far away from oppression 2. No fear 3. Terror can never come near

How to be established in righteousness?
Let’s first begin receiving His gift of Righteousness and confess that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.

“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This is one of the beatitudes spoken by our precious Lord Jesus Christ.
We all think that the first sin committed by Adam is disobedience. It’s not so.
It’s discontentment . Not content with loads of God’s blessings Adam had and for which he had access to, except for just one tree. This discontentment led to disobedience.

The reason for such discontentment is because we have not set our priorities right (Righteousness should be our priority).
When our longing is for God’s righteousness, we are satisfied with all other blessings of God. We escape the temptation of discontentment in life.

Therefore, receive His gift of righteousness and confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ. I promise you, it will work wonders !

This week, as we begin the festivity and celebration of the birth of Christ, I pray that the Father God will birth a deep desire in us to understand His Righteousness, worked out through the obedience of Jesus at the Cross, making an eternal impact in our lives .
