The Father’s Glory is Christ in you, the Living Word and the Bread of Life!
John 6:14 (NKJV)
“Then those men, when they had seen the sign that Jesus did, said, ‘This is truly the Prophet who is to come into the world.’”
My beloved,
The multitude witnessed the miracle of the feeding of more than five thousand and immediately acknowledged the “sign.” Yet their understanding of that sign was limited, they saw Jesus only as a prophet. But Jesus was far more than a prophet.
He is God in human form, the eternal Word made flesh.
He performed the miracle not merely to satisfy hunger, but to reveal Himself as the Bread of Life, the One who came to restore life and immortality to mankind.
The Deeper Meaning of the Sign
- The people saw the miracle but missed the message.
- Jesus was not pointing to bread… He was pointing to Himself.
- He became the Bread of Life so that all who partake of Him may live forever (John 6:51).
- He invited all men to “labour for the food that does not perish” (John 6:27).
- This eternal food is Christ in us the Living Word, sustaining, strengthening, and causing us to never perish.
Christ in You
Christ in you is:
- The Living Word that sustains
- The Bread of Life that satisfies
- The divine life that cancels death
- The immortal seed that empowers you to live forever in Him
In whom Christ dwells, death loses its voice, delay ceases, and life flows without measure.
✨ Prayer
Father, I thank You for revealing Jesus as the Bread of Life. Open my eyes to behold the depth of His person and the riches of His grace. Let Christ in me, Your Living Word, nourish, strengthen, and sustain me daily. Cause me to labour not for what perishes, but for the eternal life found only in Your Son. Amen.
