““Sing, O barren, You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman,” says the LORD.” Isaiah 54:1 NKJV
Isaiah 53 narrates the suffering of Christ which is the Passion of Christ & following it
Isaiah 54 narrates the Power of Christ – the Power of Resurrection . Therefore , the prophet commands us to sing and rejoice because everything that is called barren will be beautiful & will bear fruit .
Barren means unproductive , infertile, desolate, bleak, unprofitable, unfruitful , empty, waste. It isn’t just restricted to the barrenness of the womb but can also refer to any condition that is fruitless and seems dead . It could very well be your business , your career , your education , your marriage, your finances , your health, your children’s future etc.
But SING ALOUD my beloved ! REJOICE!! The quickening power of resurrection of Christ can give life to any deadness & unproductiveness.
Your life is going to be much more productive than those whom you look up & long for. You will be completely restored to be an awe & wonder in Jesus Name ! Amen 🙏
