Christmas story your glory
“And having come in, the angel said to her, “Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women!””
Luke 1:28 NKJV
Continuing from the Christmas story we discussed yesterday, where the angel addressed Mary the mother of the Lord Jesus as the “ Highly Favored One” , I would like to highlight what it is to be highly favored.
My beloved , highly favored means 1. God is with us and 2. we are highly blessed among the people we live in .
If God is for us , who can be against us ? ( Romans 8:31) ;
“Behold, I have received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot reverse it.”
(Numbers 23:20 )
Yes , my beloved , God is always on your side and has blessed you forever. No one can reverse this . Even you yourself cannot reverse His blessing. All because of Jesus. He took upon Himself the mere lowly human form being born of the Virgin . His birth bridged God and Man . His death reversed all curses into blessing upon mankind . Hallelujah! Amen 🙏
