YOU ALREADY HAVE THE SOLUTION—BUILD YOURSELF UP ON HIS FAITH IN YOU!
Jude 1:20 (NKJV)
“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.”
Beloved, throughout this week, we have been discovering a powerful truth: YOU ALREADY HAVE THE SOLUTION!
You have the Spirit of faith in you (2 Corinthians 4:13), and you have the Word of faith in your heart and in your mouth (Romans 10:8).
But how do you strengthen yourself to speak God’s Word boldly when circumstances appear intimidating? Jude 1:20 gives us the answer: “Building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.”
Notice that you are building yourself upon the faith you already have!
You are not waiting for faith to come from somewhere else. Through Christ, you have received His faith, and now you are called to build yourself up upon that faith as you pray in the Holy Spirit.
As you pray in other tongues, you build yourself up in your most holy faith. Your spirit is strengthened, your confidence in God’s Word is stirred, and you are empowered to speak His Word boldly.
This is what happened on the Day of Pentecost. The disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit and “began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance” (Acts 2:4). The Holy Spirit empowered them to speak, and their lives became a testimony of His power.
Beloved, do not allow the size of your challenges to make you forget the greatness of Christ within you.
Build yourself up upon His faith in you. Pray in the Holy Spirit, believe His Word, and give expression to that faith through your mouth.
YOU ALREADY HAVE THE SOLUTION BUILD YOURSELF UP UPON HIS FAITH AND SPEAK FORTH HIS WORD!
Prayer:
Daddy God,
thank You that Christ lives in me and that I have received the Spirit of faith. As I pray in the Holy Spirit, strengthen me upon the faith I have received in Christ. Help me to recognise what You have placed within me and speak Your Word boldly in every situation, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Proclamation:
Christ in me is the hope of glory! I have the Spirit of faith, and I have the Word of faith within me. I build myself up upon the faith I have received in Christ as I pray in the Holy Spirit. I am not helpless, empty-handed, or without an answer. I believe God’s Word and speak forth His wisdom, healing, restoration, and provision. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, and I boldly speak from the victory of His finished work!
Praise the Risen Jesus!
