You are fashioned with Excellence!
“You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of gladness more than Your companions.””
Hebrews 1:9 NKJV
I love the above verse a lot. I used to think that loving righteousness meant right doing that leads to right living. According to this, the onus of responsibility lies on me to perform righteousness until one day, God graciously opened my understanding to see that the righteousness here is Jesus’ right doing not mine.
The Lord Jesus alone fulfilled the complete requirement of the the law without being at fault, not even once He was found guilty in His entire life as man on this earth. This righteous living was not for Himself because there is no need for Him to keep the law as He is God who is Holy. He became man FOR US and AS US & fulfilled the requirements of the Law by His total obedience to be righteous. His righteousness is a free gift given to us, which has declared you and me righteous.
As you confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus , you will experience the joy unspeakable and gladness more than all your companions being completely set free from all fears ,anxiety, panic attacks, depression and loneliness. Amen 🙏
