Christ My Exalting Glory!
“For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries.”
I Corinthians 14:2 NKJV
Speaking in tongues means speaking God’s language which our minds can’t understand because it is our own spirit that prays, not the mind . Therefore, no one can understand including the one who is speaking.
You may think that its absurd. No, my friend!
A person speaking in Tongues is speaking mysteries. Recently ,the Holy Spirit said , “ I will crack puzzles as you speak in tongues”.
Accordingly, we had a great testimony in our church. A couple in our church who are holding an important portfolio in leadership shared their testimony. One of their domestic helps started to act weird and was pilfering precious items from their house. They began to seek the Lord for a solution and prayed by speaking in tongues. Suddenly the Holy Spirit gave them the direction as to how to resolve this issue. When they applied the wisdom that God gave them, the domestic help fell prostrate on the ground and accepted her fault and confessed that she was the one who stole things from the house. In mercy the couple forgave her and sent her away peacefully .
Yes my beloved, this same Holy Spirit who has made you righteous forever by the blood of Jesus, will also dwell in you forever and will crack mysterious puzzles to give you rest and will establish you in righteousness before the eyes of the world. Amen 🙏
