Behold Jesus the Bread of Life and experience His life in you!
“So when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them, “This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat.”
Exodus 16:15 NKJV
“This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”” John 6:58 NKJV
When the children of Israel travelled through the wilderness, God fed them by sending bread from heaven every day.
Their expectation of bread was different from what God had provided. They questioned Moses asking, “What is it” ? “What” in hebrew is “ Manna”. What God called as bread, Israel called as ‘Manna’ or ‘what’. Ever since, they couldn’t accept it as the bread from heaven.
This difference of opinion caused the children of Israel not only to miss their God- given- destiny of the land flowing with milk and honey, but also they died in the wilderness.
My beloved, Jesus Christ is the Bread of life sent from Heaven. He who eats of this Bread of life shall not die if taken by faith. (“_For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.” _ Hebrews 4:2 ). Amen 🙏
