Excellency of Dignity and Power!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” II Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬
“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation.” Galatians‬ ‭6:15‬ ‭

Beloved, continuing from yesterday’s meditation, the antidote for sin is New Creation.
Just as sin has no religion, no caste, no creed, no denomination so also is the New Creation. There is no one who hasn’t sinned. So, neither religion nor religious practices can alter the tag called “sinner”.

Therefore, what religion I belong to, which denomination I am presently in , what nationality I hail from, doesn’t matter at all.
The question is simple, “ Are you a New Creation?”
If you are , then neither sin nor the after effects (penalty) of sin (that includes sickness, curse, pain,sorrow ,failures,tears, death..) have any dominion over you *. *You are more than a conqueror because you are a New Creation in Christ!

But, if you aren’t a New creation then God is inviting you to receive this NEW NATURE by believing that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing that Jesus is the LORD!
All your old was completely put away by Christ at the Cross.
All things have become NEW! Hallelujah !!

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭51:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Man can manufacture, repair ,construct , renovate , restructure but it’s only God who can CREATE.
The Psalmist is praying to God to create in him a clean heart. This is because of the guilt of adultery and murder. He had sinned against God and no matter how hard he tried to deal with this guilt that he was experiencing, he was only trying to repair something that is permanently damaged.
*Having fully understood this, David desperately prays to God to “create” in him a new nature *.

This was accomplished by Jesus through His death and resurrection. His death put an end to the old nature and His resurrection created a New Nature, New Creation! “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” II Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬

My beloved , our God is a God of new things !This week expect new things to take place in your life & it all starts with believing, acknowledging & experiencing that you are the new creation in Christ – “Born again into excellency of dignity and power”. Amen 🙏

The firstborn blessing is to have an insight or revelation of His Word from the Holy Scriptures. Though this blessing is for all yet few choose to listen to His Word attentively.
It is one thing to read the Word of God but it is another to have His revelation of the same. “For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh.” Proverbs‬ ‭4:22‬ ‭. When we seek clarity or revelation of His Word, we find solution to our problems. These solutions are permanent.
Mary understood this and chose to hear intently the words that came from the gracious lips of our Lord Jesus Christ – The Personified Word. Amen 🙏

“I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow like the lily, And lengthen his roots like Lebanon. His branches shall spread; His beauty shall be like an olive tree, And his fragrance like Lebanon.”
‭‭Hosea‬ ‭14:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“His beauty shall be like an olive tree..”

The Hebrew word translated as “beauty” is “hod”, which is better translated as “glory” or “majesty”.
Well, what is so glorious about the olive tree ? To me, it reminds me of the Garden of Gethsemane.

The Garden of Gethsemane is a small grove consisting of eight ancient olive trees located at the foot of the Mount of Olives just outside the Old City of Jerusalem. Its name is derived from the Aramaic word – gat semãnê, which means ‘olive press’ , where olives are pressed to extract Oil.
This is where our Blessed Lord Jesus agonised to fulfil God’s will by bearing the heavy / unbearable burden of sin of the whole world.
He was pressed to the point that His sweat dropped as blood. He conquered the devil , disease, death and ushered in immortality to mankind at this point.

Today, we are beautified and glorified by the death and resurrection of Jesus by receiving His love for us . His sacrifice has made us righteous. By declaring that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, you respect His love for you that glorified you . Amen 🙏

When you focus on the depth, God ensures the height and the width of your life.
As explained yesterday, the righteous lengthens his roots ( focuses on the depth) by being rooted and grounded in Christ ( Colossians 2:7) and His love ( Ephesians 3:17).
1. Allow the Word ( revelation knowledge) of Christ to richly dwell in you ( Colossians 3:16).
2. Feed on Christ’s unconditional, unmatched and irreversible love for you. Sing songs like “Yes, Jesus loves me “.
3. Declare that the blood of Jesus has forgiven you forever and made you forever righteous.
This will give you a strong base ( stability), resulting in vertical growth (Elevation, stature and name ) and horizontal diversification ( fame spreading across).

Another blessing of the firstborn is their stability. The Prophet uses the stability of Cedar of Lebanon as the simile. The uniqueness of the Cedar of Lebanon is its resilience. Even if its bent down to the lowest level by the fiercest storm yet it can bounce back to its normal state as if nothing happened as it has a root system that is deep & wide spread. So also is the righteous whose resilience & fortitude is because of being rooted & grounded in Christ.

My beloved, you will definitely bounce back to your divinely designed destiny.
As it is written , “…. a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, …” (Proverbs‬ ‭24:16‬ ‭) so also you will rise again and be restored . Amen !
You may have gone through the fiercest challenges in life to the point that you think that its all over but be assured beyond doubts that you will bounce back because Jesus has made you righteous by His blood & He will restore you beyond you could ever imagine. Amen 🙏

When the dew of heaven comes upon your life, three more blessings take place as well :
1. Growth
2. Stability &
3. Prosperity
What is very interesting is that the growth of firstborn is like that of lily.
Lily grows suddenly.
Yes my beloved, expect your elevation suddenly like the lily.
The coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost was also sudden .
So also, growth in your life will be swift & sudden when your life is Holy Spirit dependent to the glory of God!

“I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from him. I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow like the lily, And lengthen his roots like Lebanon.”
‭‭Hosea‬ ‭14:4-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The first blessing of the firstborn is the Dew of heaven. This is what we should ask and seek of Him. When His dew comes upon us , He heals our backsliding, our inconsistencies & our propensity to sin .

“I will love them freely” means He loves us unconditionally. His steadfast love slides back the backslidden to Himself. Hallelujah!
This could easily happen because God’s strong displeasure on sin came upon Jesus and thus turned His anger away from us.
The Cross made possible this reconciliation between His zero % tolerance on sin on one side and His unfathomable, unconditional love on sinners on the other side . God is truly Holy and truly Love . The Cross where Jesus hung demonstrated these true natures of God .

My beloved , God is truly on your side even if you have messed up your life . He loves you freely . His anger is completely turned away from you on account of Jesus . He made you righteous forever. His favor like dew rests on you forever ! Amen 🙏

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭26:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Dew of Heaven also signifies resurrection from the dead . Hallelujah! It’s amazing how the Prophet Isaiah prophesied that those sleep in Christ will rise again!

Yes my beloved, Jesus Christ indeed rose from the grave! How can Grace be held by the grave? Death & grave couldn’t hold Him !

The Grace of Heaven quickens every situation and every condition that is experiencing death. Is your hope dashed?
Do you feel that your situation is beyond repair? Be of good cheer! That same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead quickens your body and makes you whole. Praise Jesus ! You have a miracle *! *Today is your day ! Amen 🙏

The Dew of Heaven !

“The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion, But his favor is like dew on the grass.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭19:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What is “Dew of Heaven”?
In the above verse God’s favor is mentioned as the Dew of Heaven. When God blesses with the Dew of heaven , it means that God showers His grace/ favor on the least, the last and the lowest.

Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ . Jesus is the embodiment of Grace . Therefore “Dew of Heaven” simply means Jesus . Hallelujah!
Seek the Dew of Heaven – the Lord Jesus and you will have more of God’s favor manifested in your life . Amen 🙏
