Behold The Lamb of God who Is The Enforcer Of Justice!
“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!”
John 1:29 NKJV
“And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth.”
Revelation 5:6 NKJV
We see Jesus who is the Christ, introduced as the Lamb of God, taking away the sin of the whole world. ( John 1:29)
We also see Jesus who was slain as the Lamb, rose from the dead & the Lamb now seated on the throne in heaven. These are extreme contrasts.
As the Lamb of God on the earth, He was docile. He was led as a lamb to the slaughter & as a sheep to the shearer & He didn’t open His mouth. But He took upon Himself the wrath of God because He who knew no sin became sin so that He could reconcile God and mankind.
But now that He has reconciled us, having risen from the dead, He is the dominant Lamb enthroned on high to execute justice to the oppressed and judgement to the oppressors.
My beloved friend, I believe this week, you who are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus by the Blood of the Lamb will experience God’s justice executed by the Lamb Himself who is on the throne.
He unlocks the 4th seal and the 5th seal – the blessing of protection from all evil (that could have led even to death )and grants you full measure of justice & abundant life in Jesus name!
