Beholding The Lamb Blesses You Forever!
“And I looked, and behold, in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.”
Revelation 5:6-7 NKJV
John uses the simple metaphor “the Lamb of God” to our Lord Jesus which signifies the sacrifice, for the redemption of the whole human race. He shed His own Blood just as the lamb is led to a slaughter, to take away the sin of the world (John 1:9).
The Lamb, although the meekest yet not the weakest. So also the Lord Jesus who is stronger than the strongest of all angels because no angel could come near to take the scroll that depicts our destiny from the right hand of God Almighty.
The Lamb is a helpless thing, even so Jesus hung helplessly on the Cross, abandoned by all and even by God because He bore all the sins of the entire world. But He is seen having the Seven Spirits that signify that He is all -powerful and all – present and all – knowledgeable which are the very attributes of God alone.
My beloved friend, even today if you are all alone or if you are the victim of betrayal or if you are helpless or it may seem like that all justice is taken away from you but be of good cheer, the Lamb is your defence. He is your justice. He is your very present help in the day of trouble.
He has taken away everything that stood against you. His Blood has washed away all your sins and blessed you forever. He made you righteous before the eyes of God Almighty no matter what the world may say or you may see.
Today is your day! Because God made you righteous forever, all blessings rest on you in Jesus name! Amen 🙏
