Beholding The Lamb of God Releases Us From The Clutches Of Death To Be Enthroned With Him Forever!
“Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain To receive power and riches and wisdom, And strength and honor and glory and blessing!””
Revelation 5:11-12 NKJV
Angels innumerable in count, who surround the throne & the living creatures with the elders, shout with one accord saying, “ Worthy is the Lamb !” They all are worshiping in unison, the Lamb who was once slain. All the heavenly beings live forever. They had never experienced death and nor will they ever.
Death was and is a place where the lost find their abode. Anyone who gets there doesn’t return. However, the One and the Only One who got there and yet returned victoriously is Jesus the Lamb of God. He got there, on account of mankind, in order to redeem them from death those who believe in the Lamb. Redemption came because the Lamb who was slain rose from the dead, conquered death, hell and all its inhabitants including the devil.
The Lamb not only rose from the dead but ascended to heaven, enthroned at the right hand of God Almighty & also took all the captives, the ones of the Old Testament time who were confined to this abode of death to the highest, to abide with all the heavenly beings who never sinned. This included the great Abraham and others too. They were waiting for the Blood of Jesus the Lamb to be shed. The Blood redeemed them from the clutches of Death.
Hallelujah to the Lamb !
My beloved, if you believe in the shed Blood of the Lamb, death cannot hold you. Heaven becomes your abode forever. Amen 🙏
