Behold Jesus the Resurrection and Life and Experience Life!

“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” John‬ ‭11‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

As we come to the end of this month, I wish to state the promise verse given for this month again. Jesus the Christ, who is personified Resurrection and Life Eternal, has abolished death forever  ( 2 Timothy 1:10). If only we believe in Jesus, we shall never die!  Hallelujah!

Believing is the easiest and it is possible for every human irrespective of caste, creed, culture, community or colour. God made things very simple and straightforward for mankind’s salvation & blessings. Just believe! Unbelief & doubt are the products of believing in self and looking for tangible evidence. 

When we take a little time to just dwell on His steadfast love and tireless patience and long suffering towards us, we will surely respond to Him in belief, embracing Him gratefully.

Thinking of His faithfulness will result in sure thankfulness. This is what belief is all about! Amen 🙏

Behold Jesus the Resurrection and Life and experience Pentecost !

“But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:” Acts‬ ‭2‬:‭14‬, ‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The most unusual demonstration of God’s power took place all of a sudden in Acts 2 – The coming of the Holy Spirit upon the believers who were looked down, mocked at, harassed so severely by their own people because they believed in the Lord Jesus, stood up boldly to explain the great event as what was spoken by Prophet Joel.

They were just 120 of them among so many dwelling in Jerusalem. But God was on their side. He is always on the side of the minorities, the downtrodden, the despised & those with dreadful disease and doomed to die.

The dramatic act of God stunned all people and they were confused for which Peter stood up and proclaimed that “THIS IS WHAT WAS…” He proclaimed that all God had promised, prophesied in the times past, is fulfilled NOW! The New era had begun & in that God performs every promise today & now, because the Holy Spirit has come upon, on account of Jesus who had paid the price for this blessing to be duly ours. Hallelujah!

Yes my beloved, today is the day of fulfilment of all that God has promised! This is truly the celebration of Pentecost!!

Behold Jesus the Resurrection and Life and experience His Holy Spirit’s fullness !

“And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬, ‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The believers of the Lord Jesus had received the Holy Spirit on the day that the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead & breathed into them.
When His time came to be taken up to Heaven, having blessed them with the “forever blessing”, He commanded them to wait for the Promise of the Father- The Holy Spirit.

This has led to confusion in times past among the believers after the early church movement. Some thought that both these are the same experiences.

My beloved, both aren’t the same. When we receive believing that Jesus died for our sins and God raised Him from the dead, the Holy Spirit comes in us. This is Christ in us. We become New Creation! This is Holy Spirit resident in us forever.
However, when the Promise of the Father, the Holy Spirit came upon the believers , that was a different experience & it was the Holy Spirit president over them.

It is one thing to drink the water and its another thing to be drenched and immersed completely into the water. The drinking experience is the Holy Spirit is us and the drenching experience is the Holy Spirit upon us.
Let’s experience both of them today- Holy Spirit in us & upon us in Jesus name.  Amen 🙏

Behold Jesus the Resurrection and Life and experience the Living Word !

“You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.” John‬ ‭5‬:‭39‬-‭40‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

How to have fellowship with Jesus ?
Through the Scriptures (The Bible) that reveal Jesus.

It is not everyone who reads or searches the Scriptures has Eternal life, rather when you begin to read or search the Scriptures with an intent to know Jesus that you experience Eternal life.

The Holy Spirit reveals Jesus in the Scriptures.  When you ask the Holy Spirit that you want know Jesus in the Scriptures, He will reveal the Eternal One ! Hallelujah!!
This is a wonderful experience- you will experience Him & you are free from all sorts of worries, cares and fears. You will also truly experience that He cares for you and will never disappoint you. JESUS NEVER FAILS !

He is the Word of God , the living Word, the Eternal Word, the Incorruptible Word. It is His Word that gave you the New birth ( “having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,”‭‭ I Peter‬ ‭1‬:‭23‬).
Therefore, when you receive Jesus, you are born again, you are a new creation, you are incorruptible & you are eternal just as the Eternal One!

Behold Jesus the Resurrection and Life and experience Eternity Now !

“And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.”  I John‬ ‭5‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” I Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV

Eternal life is not quantitatively defined. Its not just endless life. It is qualitatively experienced too. Eternal life is the relationship with the One who is Eternal. 
God’s call for each one of us is to have relationship or fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord because Jesus is the Eternal One!

He is with all but He is in everyone who receives Him as the Lord and Saviour.  Having Jesus Christ in your heart is Eternal Life. By this we don’t mean that Eternity or Eternal life has begun rather we mean that we have begun to experience Eternity or Eternal Life.

New Creation is always in constant fellowship with Jesus because it is by His resurrection breath that you are a New Creation.
You are Eternal now in this wold just as He is (1 John 4:17) . Amen 🙏

“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” John‬ ‭17‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“that which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ.” ‭‭I John‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

John the beloved Apostle defines ‘Eternal Life’ as knowing God and His Son Jesus Christ. This knowledge results in fellowship/ friendship, in other words, helps us to know God intimately .

There is a beautiful hymn called “ What a friend we have in Jesus ..!”_ It goes on to say how by having Him as a Friend we can avoid all needless pain, walk in peace, overcome trials and temptations . _The song writer also states his heartfelt experience that how we can never find a friend so faithful as Jesus in all the world.

John the beloved Apostle , who was the closest Apostle to Jesus, who leaned on the bosom of Jesus, who is the only one who knew the betrayer of Jesus , the only Apostle who stood at the foot of the Cross when Jesus was crucified, who wrote the last book of the bible -The Revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ, invites us all to have the same kind of relationship with Jesus the Lord and God Almighty.

My beloved begin talking with Jesus and you will slowly develop a deep intimacy with Him. You too will have the experience of John or the song writer, of having Jesus as the Best Friend!  Amen 🙏

Behold Jesus the Resurrection and Life and experience His Everlasting Life !

“That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life— the life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us—” I John‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What Adam received from God was the ‘breath of life’ and not ‘eternal life’.  If he had received eternal life, he wouldn’t have died.
Adam and Eve were on probation. God wanted to see whether they would obey Him?
Alas ! They didn’t. The net result was that sin and death controlled men and the original intent of God that Man should live forever was thwarted.

Interestingly, two trees were placed in the midst of the garden of Eden and both were trees of knowledge- the Knowledge of good and evil and the knowledge of God ( Tree of life ). Had Adam and Eve chosen the knowledge of God which is the tree of life , they would have lived forever.  But, rather they chose the tree of knowledge of good and evil and allowed death.

Praise be to God who didn’t give up on man. He sent His Son Jesus that whoever believes in Him shall have everlasting life . What man gained was much more than what he lost . Hallelujah! Praise God !!  Amen 🙏

Behold Jesus the Resurrection and Life and experience His Everlasting Life !

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Eternal life is God’s desire for you.  His primary intent for all of us is that, as the Eternal life is in Him so it should be in us.
If His love for us is so great & unfathomable in that, He gave His only begotten Son Jesus which is unimaginable, then surely the Eternal life which in us is the highest blessing!

What is the requirement to have this Eternal life ?
JUST BELIEVE!
Yes, anyone who believes in God and His Son Jesus Christ will have eternal life .

What is Eternal Life ?
“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.” ‭‭John‬ ‭17‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Knowing God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ personally is Eternal life. There is a huge difference between knowing a person and knowing about a person. It’s knowing Jesus personally and intimately that makes us eternal.

This is possible when we are born again – born of God. This new birth is birthed by the breath of the Resurrected Jesus which is known as the New Creation.
When you receive Jesus as you Lord and Saviour in your heart, you are born of God . You are a New Creation! When you are born again of the incorruptible seed which is the Word of God , you have in you the Everlasting life !  Hallelujah!! Amen 🙏

Behold Jesus the Resurrection and Life and experience His Heavenly blessing !

 

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭3‬ ‭NIV‬‬

 

All throughout from the time of Adam till the time when Jesus came, the blessings of God were earthly blessings alone . This was because God gave authority to man on things pertaining to the earth alone ( “*The highest heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth he has given to mankind.” ‭‭ Psalms‬ ‭115‬:‭16‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

 

However, after the Lord Jesus rose from the dead and He breathed His Resurrection- the New Creation life into all those who believed, the blessings are now extended to that of the heavenly ( “Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.” Matthew‬ ‭28‬:‭18‬ ‭NIV)‬‬.

 

Yes my beloved , if you are in Christ, you are a New Creation! You are blessed forever! You are now blessed with both the blessings of earth & heaven .  Hallelujah! Amen 🙏

Behold Jesus the Resurrection and Life and experience His true blessing !

“By faith he ( Moses) left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭27‬ ‭NIV‬‬

Moses left the glamour and the glory of the superpower then which was Egypt . If we have to speak the same thing today , it can mean the US or any other developed country , that is well advanced in fame and prosperity.

Such a decision takes a huge faith and the endurance that can withstand all trials.
What was the inner experience that resulted in such a determined decision and the display of dynamic faith in Moses?
If we look closely at the verse again, we understand that Moses saw God who in invisible. This is the sole reason for his dynamic and determined faith.
Faith is the response or the reaction to a real experience or inner reality.

Seeing God is not in the capacity of man nor it is man’s choice. It is God’s initiative!

Secondly, seeing God who is invisible that can result in forsaking the glamour and glory of the most highly reputed nation in the world simply goes to prove that the world that is not seen with natural eyes is more real and is eternal than the world that we can see today.

This is the blessedness of God that is given every one who believes! The Risen Lord Jesus revealed Himself to everyone who either longed to see or who was destined to see. This is indeed the true blessedness to see the invisible. Amen 🙏
