Christ in me – The Spirit of Glory

“The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27:1-2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My beloved , I want to encourage you this morning saying that God Almighty is on your side always even though you are tested and tried, for these are testing times.

Don’t panic because the admission for your child hasn’t come through yet or your much awaited healing hasn’t happened so far or you are still waiting for your promotion and it seems as if nothing is happening in your favor rather things are going against you.

Weapons fashioned against you shall utterly fail because God is on your side.
Jesus has completely paid the price at the Calvary so that healing in your body, promotion in your life, financial miracle in this economic downturn becomes your portion.

Just hold on to the proclamation of your faith concerning righteousness. You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and therefore your eager expectation will surely come to pass. Just hold on!

“My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths, so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent before Him; and also, O king, I have done no wrong before you.” Now the king was exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury whatever was found on him, because he believed in his God.” Daniel‬ ‭6:22-23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Daniel simply believed God! It’s so simple yet to many of us it seems so profound and hard.
It will seem difficult to trust God especially when we aren’t in continuous fellowship with Him .

Approaching Him as and when we have a need is as good as going to any ATM to withdraw cash as and when we have a need for it.
Our attitude to treat God Almighty just like any ATM or vending machine could be one of the major reasons for faltering during trying times. Seeking Him whenever we have a need or giving our time to Him whenever we have some time to spare is not the custom Daniel had.

During trying times, do we fret or fume towards people who cause the problem or fall on our knees before Him asking Him to intervene ?

Daniel said two important things that
1. he was found innocent before God and
2. he had done no wrong before his boss.

Our testimony can be like Daniel too
1. When we say that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus , we are found innocent before God.
2. When we allow “Christ in us” to work through us, we will not only do no wrong but we also exceed the expectation of our bosses by the Spirit of Glory. Amen 🙏

Christ in me – The Spirit of Glory

“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went home. And in his upper room, with his windows open toward Jerusalem, he knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks before his God, as was his custom since early days.”
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭6:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When the evil intent is devised and fashioned against you , neither fear nor seek human means of deliverance because the true deliverance comes only from the Living God .
Daniel, one of the major prophets of Israel, when he knew that his contemporaries had devised evil against him to annihilate him once and for all, sought the Living God. His custom was to pray three times a day and to give thanks & he continued seeking God according to his custom.

My beloved, if evil is designed and customised to demote or defame you, hold on to your God-given custom of professing, “ I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus”.

Seek God in prayer inviting Him into the threatening situation with thanksgiving for who He is & what He has already accomplished on the cross as the solution to the problem. Christ who dwells in you will cause His Spirit of Glory to thwart every evil fashioned against you ( Isaiah 54:17) . Amen 🙏

“Then King Nebuchadnezzar was astonished; and he rose in haste and spoke, saying to his counselors, “Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?” They answered and said to the king, “True, O king.” “Look!” he answered, “I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire; and they are not hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.””
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭3:24-25‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Shadrack, Meshach and Abednego had defied the order of the Great king Nebuchadnezzar by refusing to bow before the gold image that the king made for all the people of the land to worship, because these young men only served and worshipped the Great Jehovah, the God of the heavens and the earth.

In his great fury, the King commanded his servants to bind and throw these three young men into the burning furnace that was made to burn 7 times more than the usual.
Lo and behold, the Son of God who is Jesus in His pre-incarnate state as the Spirit of Glory appeared and loosed the three children of God. The fiery furnace burnt the strong ropes that bound them but had no power at all over their bodies & their hair and their garments did not even the smell of fire.

My beloved, whatever limitations the people or the circumstances had placed on you that stops your progress in life I DECLARE this day , that these limitations shall be burnt away completely from your life forever and you shall be free indeed for the Spirit of Glory shall manifest because of Christ the Son of God in you, just like the way those strong binding ropes were burnt away in the furnace!.
Amen 🙏

Christ in me – The Spirit of Glory

“If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified”. I Peter‬ ‭4:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Reproach, shame, insults, ridicule, mockery, affliction that come in our lives are definitely not God’s intent. The verse clearly says that every time we go through these afflictions, God is blasphemed & God is mocked.
However, He turns our mourning into dancing, our hurts into blessings, our sorrows into joy, our pain into gain and it is the Spirit of Glory who turns around these torments into our glory.

Christ is the epitome of suffering on behalf of the whole human race irrespective of caste , creed, color or culture. But, the Spirit of Glory raised Him from the dead and made Him to be seated at the right hand of God the Father, causing every enemy of mankind to bow in shame & become a footstool .
This same Spirit of Glory comes upon you and He is in you when you accept Jesus as the Lord and Saviour of your life that results in glory and honour. Therefore, every time you encounter challenges , the Spirit of Glory will cause you greater honour and greater glory . Amen 🙏

“and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
Haggai‬ ‭2:7-9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The shaking of all nations is already at work from the time we had the pandemic – Covid 19 worldwide. There is and has been an economic downturn – diesel prices going up 🛗 exorbitantly, huge fluctuations in exchange rate , prices of the commodities going up unreasonably, cost of living going up not just in percentage but in times.
Yet the Lord says, “ I will fill this temple ( your life) with glory . The latter half of this year will be more awesome than the former, for the wealth of the world is Mine”.

Yes my beloved , as we come to the end of this week and also to the end of this month , I can strongly sense an unscheduled blessing coming your way, an out-of-the-season -promotion being bestowed upon you suddenly. There will be a turnaround of events beyond your wildest imagination. Sickness will give way to perfect health. People who were against you will speak for you. Favor will come seeking you like a torrential rain. Your best time is at hand!

Just hold on to the above promise and keep your confession on that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
Jesus is both your Saviour and Lord ! He is your T’sidkenu ( Righteousness). Amen 🙏

Christ in me – Greater Glory

“But He said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.” Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:20-21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Because of the wind being contrary, the struggle was too great to manage for the disciples. But ,when they saw Jesus walking on the sea, they were greatly afraid, thinking it was a ghost ( evil spirit) , for since the beginning of the world no man has ever walked on the sea.

However, when Jesus calmed them saying that it is Him, their loving Saviour, they willingly received Him into their boat that was tossed to and fro during the storm.
All that the disciples longed for was to have the boisterous wind ceased from blowing which was creating havoc & making their lives miserable. They knew how to row the boat to the shore afterward as they were seasoned fishermen.

Yes my beloved, are you facing the contrary wind that is making your life miserable, having sleepless nights, dreading the future ? You may be praying desperately saying, “Jesus please deliver me from this. “

Let me bring you the “Now Word” : Jesus the Christ will not only deliver you from this miserable state but also will take you up to your desired destiny instantly today !
When He steps in, it is all about His Power throughout so that all the glory will be His and His alone!
You need to simply and wholeheartedly receive Him into your boat & surrender to Him fully. Allow Him to be your Saviour and the Lord! Don’t deprive Him the opportunity to take you through completely to the other side of the shore eventhough you may perhaps be able to manage /navigate / negotiate once the problem has ceased restoring the normalcy . He is not only the Savior but the Lord Most High all throughout!! Allow Him . Amen 🙏

Christ in me – Greater Glory

“Then the sea arose because a great wind was blowing. So when they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and drawing near the boat; and they were afraid. But He said to them, “It is I; do not be afraid.” Then they willingly received Him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land where they were going.”
‭‭John‬ ‭6:18-21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This is such a beautiful passage showing how Jesus diffuses our struggles when we face troubles.
The disciples were rowing hard but had only covered a distance of 3-4 miles in over 6 hours because of the contrary wind.

My beloved , when the situation is working contrary causing you to struggle endlessly, be of good cheer , Jesus comes seeking you with His assuring & comforting word that will turn your struggles of life into rest , sorrow into joy , pain into gain , poverty into prosperity, sickness into health. Hallelujah!

All it takes for you is to receive Him willingly into your boat ( into your heart, into your career) and you will reach your desired haven immediately.

Christ in you transcends time. His favor skips processes & protocols & beats the gravitational force that pulls you down .

Remember this process :
Contrary wind working against you ( verse 18) brings in the Conquering Jesus ( verse 19), who speaks the Comforting word ( verse 20) to your troubled soul and elevates you by Conferring grace to transcend time !
( verse 21). Hallelujah! Amen 🙏

Christ in me – Greater Glory

“Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it.”
‭‭John‬ ‭2:2-3, 7-8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The first miracle was performed by our Lord Jesus in the wedding feast at Cana of Galilee by turning water into wine.
What propelled Him to perform this miracle was “lack”. They ran out of wine and the celebration wasn’t over yet and perhaps it had just started. It would have become a very embarrassing moment for the host if their need had gone a-begging.

Yes my beloved , where there is ‘lack’, Jesus is present as a “very present help in trouble” to address the lack & turn it into abundance by transcending time & skipping processes.

Many a times, we put up with lack & even accept it as “ God’s will “. If there is an inflation , we try to manage life with whatever is left with us. We don’t see the need to ask Jesus to address our need.
In fact , we wait until things get high and dry just like the case with the wedding at Cana.
It’s very sad!

Whatever your need be and however grave the situation has become, Jesus Christ will turn your lack into abundance today! Just believe & receive!  He will skip processes and transcend time, exceeding your expectation this very day!! Amen 🙏

Christ in me – Greater Glory

“For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, Because the Lord will make a short work upon the earth.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭9:28‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My beloved, expect your long awaited miracle to happen this week!
In righteousness, God will do a quick work and will do away with processes therefore He transcends time!

Your long awaited healing , long awaited promotion, long awaited job, long awaited baby , even the long awaited marriages , will happen NOW & will happen suddenly _ all because of His righteousness which was demonstrated through His only begotten Son , our Lord Jesus Christ.

On one hand, His righteousness punished sin on the body of Jesus and on the other hand He completely forgave the sins of every sinner forever.  He is both the Just and the Justifier! He never lowered His standard of Holiness.
Jesus not only met God’s holy standard but also over paid way beyond what was due & yet outlived the ordeal at the Cross.  Amazing Jesus!

Therefore, God is completely Just & right to hasten His work , cut it short in righteousness, by skipping processes and ushering in your miracle in the quickest time with the highest quality. Hallelujah! Just receive it!!
