“Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.
But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭4:21, 23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Secret place of the Most High was geographically based in a certain place as directed by God in the Old Testament.

However, the Lord Jesus came up with a radical teaching to the Samaritan woman that God’s dwelling place was not just a geographical location but it’s the heart – Yes, the heart of every one who wishes to worship God in true sincerity.

This was made possible through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. On the cross, the Lord Jesus paid the price not only to redeem man but also to make man as the dwelling place for God. Amen 🙏

‭‭John‬ ‭7:37-38‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Lord Jesus in the above passage talks about the baptism in the Holy Spirit and the initial evidence of speaking in the Heavenly tongues.
Oh, What an experience! I can’t forget this glorious Heavenly bliss that I personally experienced on the 26th October 1990.
The dynamics of speaking to the mountain like problems is the most effective by speaking in tongues.
Because you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus , you are entitled to this Heavenly gift.
Speaking in tongues flushes out the unwanted and releases the power of God in every facet of our lives . Amen 🙏

Your confession of faith can be very powerful and dynamic when you begin to learn to let go of disappointments and hurts you have encountered in life.
Letting go can effectively happen in the secret place, when you are alone with your Heavenly Father. When we begin to see the great sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ in bringing God’s complete forgiveness of sins , forgiving others becomes easy.

Once I remember ministering in a prayer meeting how to receive the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues. Through the gift of word of knowledge I made mention of a brother who was struggling with unforgiveness & it is actually hindering the power of speaking in tongues in his life. This man promised the Lord that he will go and reconcile with the brother who wronged him . Instantly , the Holy Spirit fell upon him and he began speaking in Tongues . Oh ! What a glorious sight to see ! Amazing ! He testified that he was an elder in the church and never experienced God in the person of the Holy Spirit .

My beloved , let go of your past hurts . Believe in the righteousness of God which is only in Christ and confess it . And you will be able to let go and will experience God’s power in your confession . Amen 🙏

“Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Confession is not “Name it and Claim it “ or “ Blab it and Grab it “ .
Speaking to mountain like problems has direct link to and is preceded by, praying in the Secret Place where you hear Him.

The Lord who spoke these words, also said that He doesn’t do anything unless He hears His Father . Every authoritative word that the Lord spoke whether against an incurable sickness or the most stubborn demon or the boisterous wind or against the raging waves was always after hearing His Father in the private called the Secret Place .

My beloved , you too can experience this gracious fellowship with the Father resulting in glorious power demonstration.
Its the righteousness of Jesus given to us as a gift that ushers us into this living reality.
Let’s follow the practice of Jesus and see the Power of Jesus ! Amen 🙏

“So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭11:22-23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The power of confession can move the most stubborn mountain like problem whether to do with health , family , finance or any other issue.
However , such confessions can work only if we believe in our heart .

Confession is speaking with belief in heart. But speaking forth without belief in heart can be called as Recitation. We may be doing recitation and not true confession of faith.

How do we know that we are believing ?
I have found at least three reactions to believing from the Holy Scriptures . First of all belief has to do with the Word of God & the reaction can be – a) people having heard the word of God , have either responded in conviction , trying to figure out what to do ( Acts 2:37; Acts 16:30) ; or b) expressed joy or gladness ( Acts 2:41; Acts 13:48); or c) let go ( Ruth 1:17; Hebrews 11:25-27)
Now let’s check our lives with the above check list. If it is not so , then our mind needs healing from biased thinking . I have personally gone through challenges many a times especially when it comes to confessing that I am the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. There have been times, when my mind subtly whispers that it doesn’t work by just confessing. I sought the Lord to heal my mind so that the Grace of God can penetrate my mind to heal , so that my heart can believe . Amen 🙏

“I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”” Psalms‬ ‭91:2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The one who dwells in the secret place, will operate in the true confession of faith. True confession will be the result of genuine belief. This is what the Psalmist says : it’s one’s trust in God that he/she speaks high of God.
Even Paul the apostle speaks in the same line in 2 Corinthians 4:13 , “ …we also believe therefore we speak. “

Paul the apostle in Romans 10: 9 and 10 says that we believe in our heart that God has made us righteous by the blood of Jesus and by confessing that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus we are saved , saved from every sin , every addiction, every disease & every demonic influence . Hallelujah! Amen 🙏

“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Secret Place is where you hear God . This is what the Lord whispered in my heart . This is an awesome truth!
God speaks through His Word and through His still small voice. Sometimes He speaks even through dreams and visions .

The greatest blessing is to hear Him .
When the Lord Jesus visited the house
of Martha and Mary, Mary chose to sit at Jesus’s feet whereas Martha was distracted and worried with various things. When Martha complained to the Lord that Mary has left her alone to work , the Lord appreciated Mary’s choice to sit at His feet to listen to Him .
Yes my beloved , it’s our choice. The power of the secret place will be openly demonstrated by the Lord .

Let’s apply our lives to hear Him . Confessing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus tunes your soul to God to hear Him clearly . Amen!

“You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him; I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
With long life I will satisfy him, And show him My salvation.””
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:13-14, 16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Psalm 91 is normally perceived and taught as Psalm of PROTECTION and PRESERVATION.
I would say this is true but it’s not just that alone. If you carefully see the Psalm again, especially the above passage, Psalm 91 is just not restricted to protection and preservation. The feet that was focussed to trap the believer, God makes the very same feet to tread and trample the evil . This talks about our POSITION .

Then the Most High sets the believer on high . This is PROMOTION .

He satisfies us with long life and shows us His Salvation . This is PROLONGED LIFE ( leading to Eternal Life, conquering the last enemy Death ). Amen 🙏 Hallelujah!

Truly , confessing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, leads you into these five fold blessings .

But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.” Matthew‬ ‭6:6‬ ‭
“..I will set him on high, because he has known My name.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Once Pastor Benny Hinn said that the Holy Spirit told him , “ Son touch Me in the private and I will touch the people in the public”. Yes my beloved , our fellowshipping with God in our private life ( Secret place ) , brings His reward to us openly before the eyes of all people .

Just to testify one of His exaltations in my life – In the year 1991 , I came to Lagos for the first time. I was placed as a Business Manager. Within a couple of months , I was severely afflicted by the very dreaded Malaria . For 20 days it was an experience of hell. I cried out in anguish and pain . I did recover yet I couldn’t eat well, lost my appetite, was living on peanuts and bananas only .

Moreover, it didn’t go well with me at the place of work . I was intimidated and mocked and even threatened of being sacked. No proper food , no transport , depended on others for my daily commuting, no proper place of stay and to top it up, I was an object of mockery. During such a time, I sought the Lord in my private closet daily . Within 21 days , things turned upside down . Overnight, I was called by the GM and was handsomely promoted to the utter disbelief of all those who mocked at me . I was given an accommodation in an Estate of four houses all for myself in the prime place of Ikeja , was given a Indian cook who could provide me excellent food according to my taste & was also given an exclusive chauffeur driven car.
I lived in style . All these four fold blessings came in one single day. That’s God openly rewarding us when we dwell in the secret place .
My beloved , you too can experience this amazing exaltation of God as clearly mentioned in Psalm 91 because the blood of Jesus has made you righteous.
Growing in grace is experiencing the dynamics of the secret place. Amen 🙏

“But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.” Matthew‬ ‭6:6‬ ‭

The bliss of fellowshipping with Our Heavenly Father is just awesome. If only we taste this, we will run to meet Him every morning.

The hustle and bustle of the world robs us of this greatest blessing. My beloved, distraction is one of the biggest enemies , trying to rob us of the blessing of dwelling in the secret place .

The Lord Jesus advised and His word still echoes – “when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray “.
Lock yourself from every distraction, especially from your mobile phones during the special moments in communication with our Holy Father. We pray and at the same time peep into the messages that drop into our devices. We are neither focused to hear our darling Heavenly Father nor are we competent to reply/ respond to those things which distract us.
Dearly beloved, let’s ask the Holy Spirit to heal our mind and enable us to be connected with the Father in Heaven through Jesus our Lord , being fully focused.
Truly, confessing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, gives you the access into His Presence, which is awesomely blissful. Amen 🙏
