Christ My Exalting Glory!
“Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. “For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” ’” Acts 2:33-35 NKJV
Holy Spirit who is The Promise of the Father, was sent from Heaven because Jesus Christ was glorified, being exalted to the right hand of God in order to dwell in the heart of every believer who believes Jesus Christ as his Righteousness ( T’sidkenu). He conquered death and ushered in eternal life in us – never to die ! Hallelujah!
‘Holy Spirit in us’ or ‘Christ in us’ was a long cherished dream in the Old Testament but was fulfilled when Jesus died our death and was raised from the dead to be seated at the right hand of the Father.
Today , this is a living reality to us who believe.
Yes my beloved, you can receive The Promise of the Father, the Blessed Holy Spirit in you and upon you. The initial evidence that you have received the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues.
When you speak in tongues , you declare that Jesus is exalted far above all. Exalted Christ becomes your Exalting Glory !
When you speak in tongues, God makes every enemy of yours as Christ’s footstool & footstool to the church.
