“I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow like the lily, And lengthen his roots like Lebanon. His branches shall spread; His beauty shall be like an olive tree, And his fragrance like Lebanon.”
‭‭Hosea‬ ‭14:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Another blessing of the firstborn is their stability. The Prophet uses the stability of Cedar of Lebanon as the simile. The uniqueness of the Cedar of Lebanon is its resilience. Even if its bent down to the lowest level by the fiercest storm yet it can bounce back to its normal state as if nothing happened as it has a root system that is deep & wide spread. So also is the righteous whose resilience & fortitude is because of being rooted & grounded in Christ.

My beloved, you will definitely bounce back to your divinely designed destiny.
As it is written , “…. a righteous man may fall seven times And rise again, …” (Proverbs‬ ‭24:16‬ ‭) so also you will rise again and be restored . Amen !
You may have gone through the fiercest challenges in life to the point that you think that its all over but be assured beyond doubts that you will bounce back because Jesus has made you righteous by His blood & He will restore you beyond you could ever imagine. Amen 🙏

When the dew of heaven comes upon your life, three more blessings take place as well :
1. Growth
2. Stability &
3. Prosperity
What is very interesting is that the growth of firstborn is like that of lily.
Lily grows suddenly.
Yes my beloved, expect your elevation suddenly like the lily.
The coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost was also sudden .
So also, growth in your life will be swift & sudden when your life is Holy Spirit dependent to the glory of God!

“I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely, For My anger has turned away from him. I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow like the lily, And lengthen his roots like Lebanon.”
‭‭Hosea‬ ‭14:4-5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The first blessing of the firstborn is the Dew of heaven. This is what we should ask and seek of Him. When His dew comes upon us , He heals our backsliding, our inconsistencies & our propensity to sin .

“I will love them freely” means He loves us unconditionally. His steadfast love slides back the backslidden to Himself. Hallelujah!
This could easily happen because God’s strong displeasure on sin came upon Jesus and thus turned His anger away from us.
The Cross made possible this reconciliation between His zero % tolerance on sin on one side and His unfathomable, unconditional love on sinners on the other side . God is truly Holy and truly Love . The Cross where Jesus hung demonstrated these true natures of God .

My beloved , God is truly on your side even if you have messed up your life . He loves you freely . His anger is completely turned away from you on account of Jesus . He made you righteous forever. His favor like dew rests on you forever ! Amen 🙏

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭26:19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Dew of Heaven also signifies resurrection from the dead . Hallelujah! It’s amazing how the Prophet Isaiah prophesied that those sleep in Christ will rise again!

Yes my beloved, Jesus Christ indeed rose from the grave! How can Grace be held by the grave? Death & grave couldn’t hold Him !

The Grace of Heaven quickens every situation and every condition that is experiencing death. Is your hope dashed?
Do you feel that your situation is beyond repair? Be of good cheer! That same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead quickens your body and makes you whole. Praise Jesus ! You have a miracle *! *Today is your day ! Amen 🙏

The Dew of Heaven !

“The king’s wrath is like the roaring of a lion, But his favor is like dew on the grass.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭19:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What is “Dew of Heaven”?
In the above verse God’s favor is mentioned as the Dew of Heaven. When God blesses with the Dew of heaven , it means that God showers His grace/ favor on the least, the last and the lowest.

Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ . Jesus is the embodiment of Grace . Therefore “Dew of Heaven” simply means Jesus . Hallelujah!
Seek the Dew of Heaven – the Lord Jesus and you will have more of God’s favor manifested in your life . Amen 🙏

“Therefore may God give you Of the dew of heaven, Of the fatness of the earth, And plenty of grain and wine. Let peoples serve you, And nations bow down to you. Be master over your brethren, And let your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be everyone who curses you, And blessed be those who bless you!”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭27:28-29‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This is the first time we find the Firstborn blessing so descriptively defined.
These 7 fold blessings make the firstborn as the recipient of the heavenly and earthly blessings , spiritual and material blessings , things touching people and protection

Of the seven fold blessings , the first blessing is the most significant blessing which states “God give you of dew of heaven”

Most of us seek after the other 6 blessings whereas the first blessing automatically leads us to the rest of the 7 fold blessings
My beloved , let’s sincerely seek the blessing of God where He releases the dew of Heaven. Amen 🙏

“Reuben, you are my firstborn, My might and the beginning of my strength, The excellency of dignity and the excellency of power.” Genesis‬ ‭49:3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
What an amazing verse !

The firstborn brings out the best of his / her parents. He/ she is the expression of the hidden talents , unearthed strength of his/ her parents.

Even so, when the Lord Jesus came into this world , He expressed who God the Father is . John the beloved Apostle writes, “ …and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.” (John‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭)

The author of Hebrews writes, “ (Jesus) being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person…” (Hebrews‬ ‭1:3‬ )
Jesus is the exact expression of God the Father.

The author of Colossians writes, “For in Him (Jesus )dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily;” Colossians‬ ‭2:9‬ ‭
By virtue of Divine exchange that took place at the Cross of Calvary (Jesus took your place, inviting you to take His) the firstborn blessing is yours making you the expression of God the Father. Amen 🙏

“The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭16:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The meaning of “inheritance “ in the dictionary is “money, property, etc., that is received from someone when that person dies.”
This is really interesting. Jesus Christ ,the Son of God, came into this world to give us an inheritance both on earth and in heaven. But this could only happen through His death on the cross .

His blood shed at the cross not only made us righteous but also caused us to have the inheritance of firstborn blessings – name and fame!

Let’s believe this truth and partake in the communion to seal the firstborn blessings in our lives. Amen 🙏

“The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” Romans‬ ‭8:16-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

One of the great ministries of the Holy Spirit is to witness that we are the children of God : God is our Abba Father & therefore, we his children have an inheritance which cannot be earned otherwise. We are the heir of God & joint heirs with Christ!

A child is always a child whether he is responsible or not. His behaviour doesn’t deny his birthright. Just like the way a child by birth becomes the citizen of a country, so also when we become born again we inherit God’s wealth. If we suffer during this process for righteousness sake , we are sure that we will be definitely glorified . Amen 🙏

“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭8:28-29‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God’s purpose for each one of us is to be conformed to (fashioned into) the image of the Son of God so that we inherit the blessings of the firstborn.
In this process of fashioning us to inherit, all things work together for good, whether misfortunes or good fortunes.
So take heart, for every child of God there are no wasted years. Hallelujah!

This thought should calm our soul and cause us to worship Jesus . Truly, every evil designed against you , will result in inheriting the blessing of the firstborn – name & fame !

The brothers of Joseph schemed evil & sold Joseph into the hands of the Egyptians . But in the process , the very thing that was meant for evil against him , worked for him to inherit the firstborn blessings . Amen 🙏
