Christ My Transforming Glory!

“And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1:14, 17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus Christ is the fullness of the Glory of God . He is the completeness of God. The law was communicated to Israel through Moses. The law was assigned only to Israel / Jews and never meant to be given to non- Israelites or otherwise referred to as Gentiles.

This is because, of all the nations, Israel was chosen of God , whose genesis began from father Abraham , with whom God made a covenant to bless his descendants after him and through them the whole world.

Israel was a pure breed ( pedigree) and the chosen covenant people & yet they couldn’t keep the law. If the best of the breeds couldn’t keep, how then could the rest of the breeds ( gentiles) keep the law?
Therefore, God sent His only Son Jesus to fulfil all that the Law required to satisfy His justice and righteousness. Through Christ’s perfect obedience, abundance of grace and gift of Righteousness is given to bless mankind not only the Jews but also the whole world. Hallelujah!

His coming into this world brought the Permanent Glory of God to be resident IN us so that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled IN us and NOT BY us ( Romans 8:4) . Hallelujah! What a relief !! The onus ( responsibility) to fulfill God’s standard doesn’t lie on us. Jesus in me is the hope of Glory, working in me what is required by God.

All I have to do today is to accept His divine working in me and confess that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus .

Christ My Transforming Glory!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Transformation is God- designed, God-provided, God-executed. That’s why it’s permanent and forever. Any change that originates from human thinking and executed never last long. We may modify our lifestyle, we may avoid places and people in order that our woeful past doesn’t trigger off. We may change locations or jobs to have a new atmosphere , yet the pattern of thinking hasn’t changed.

Life in Christ, is a new beginning . You are a new creation . You are a brand new man . Old things have passed away and behold all things become new ! Receive this new life , new life style , a new way of thinking .. thinking victorious , thinking vibrant, thinking like Christ . Hallelujah!
Jesus didn’t come to bring in more rules to mankind. He came to give life and abundant life. Receiving Jesus is experiencing fullness of life . Amen 🙏

“Then some of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these words, and said to Him, “Are we blind also?” Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.” John‬ ‭9:40-41‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The best of your goodness is still well short of God. It’s not how ‘good’ you are , it is how ‘God-kind’ you are that matters to God. Pharisees and even the religions of today fail to comprehend this. Still worse is that we get into a ‘comparative mode’ ( horizontal dimension ) when our true comparison should be in the vertical dimension.

Isaiah, the great prophet fell into this syndrome of horizontal comparison. He started cursing the people around him till the chapter 5 of Isaiah . But the moment God revealed Himself to Isaiah in Chapter 6 , he saw his wretched state and was then completely transformed . It is after this encounter with God, his life and ministry had a 180 degree turn and he went on to prophesy in detail the death and resurrection of Jesus the Messiah . The book of Isaiah has 66 chapters, which many scholars of the Bible call as ‘a mini Bible’, for the Bible has 66 books in it .

See what transformation can do in a man’s life! Even so today, your life and your endeavours can radically change through the transforming power of Christ by the Spirit of the Living God. It only takes you to believe this ( as stated above ) and confess with your mouth repeatedly that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus ( mental assent won’t help). Amen 🙏

“You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭3:2-3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

How true the words of our Lord Jesus who said , “ A tree is known by its fruit! “ If the root is good , the fruit will also be good and vice versa. One can’t act to be different for a long time, for the true colour will manifest soon . I may colour my hair as ‘natural black’ but soon it will show the true colour. But a true believer of Christ, can’t be different from Christ .

Jesus Christ was sought by the sinners, tax collectors, prostitutes , the sick, the depressed & the forsaken. Every one of these who came in touch with Jesus was totally transformed . The sick were completely healed forever and even began to minister healing to others . The demon possessed were completely delivered and began to minister deliverance to others. No religious teaching nor motivational speeches can bring this complete transformation in human beings .

Transformation can only happen when you encounter Christ. When you see Jesus, you become Jesus. That’s the meaning of ‘Epistle of Christ’, written by the Spirit of the Living God in our hearts .

What does He write?
That all your sins are forgiven ; that you are righteous in the sight of God forever; that you are highly favoured and always accepted in the sight of God ; that God who once seemed million miles away, now dwells in the inside of you .
You may ask me , “what should I do to experience all that you have written ?”
Just believe that Jesus died for you and in your heart receive the Lord Jesus who is risen forever. Having done this, Confess that you are the righteousness of God day and night and soon you will experience the transformation in every aspect of your life and the world will testify: “Christ is in you”.

“Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, Let not the mighty man glory in his might, Nor let the rich man glory in his riches; But let him who glories glory in this, That he understands and knows Me, That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these I delight,” says the Lord.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭9:23-24‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What an amazing Scripture portion of the Bible!
We are fond of knowing our strengths and delighting in them. But the real delight we need to involve ourselves should be in His Grace ( accepting us the way we are, despite several shortcomings ) , His Righteousness ( transforming us inside out ) and His Justice ( bringing every contrary force against us to nothing ) . Hallelujah!

Actually it is easier to handle our weaknesses than our strengths. It easier to handle our shortcomings than our abilities . It is easier to handle our lack than our sufficiency.

One of our church leaders responded to yesterday’s GFYT as follows saying,
“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,”
“Not that we are prosperous of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our prosperity is from God,”

Not that we are healthy of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our health is from God,”
“Not that we are intelligent of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our intelligence is from God,”

Not that we are highly favored of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our Favor is from God,”
Not that we are Righteous of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our righteousness is from God,”

Not that we are holy of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our holiness is from God,”
( You can add to the above list addressing any & every area of your concern )
Truly, your confession of His righteousness addresses the whole ambit of your life.

Christ My Transforming Glory!

“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think of anything as being from ourselves, but our sufficiency is from God,”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The first step to know and experience ‘Transformation’ is to realize that our sufficiency is from God alone. Our belief is not ‘ believing in self’ but ‘ believing in God ‘. Believing in one’s self may be good in working out some behavioural modification. But only God can work out a genuine inside out ‘Transformation’ in one’s life.

The system of this world works and pursues on believing in one’s self. Unfortunately, this system has crept into Christianity subtly. Even the believers are carried away often times with this sort of a system , which has nothing to offer to this hurting world. Obviously, they have worked out their own means to bring change in themselves , trusting in themselves. But the end result is only hopelessness & frustration.
It is only Christ’s righteousness- His right deeds ( dying for every wrong of mankind ) that negated every wrong of us and has given us the right standing with God on judicial ground.

When you confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ , you activate this legal claim, invoking the Holy Spirit to bring a complete and thorough change- inside out that lasts forever. This is the divinely worked out ‘transformation’ touching your spirit , soul and body. Christ is truly your transforming glory through His righteousness . Amen 🙏

“And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.” John‬ ‭16:8-11 NKJV‬‬

The Holy Spirit is in the business to shame the devil over and over again . Hallelujah!

Yesterday, one of our leaders shared a very powerful testimony stating that recently his uncle , aged 93 , was hospitalised due to Covid. His aunty kept confessing that his uncle being the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus is in the ICU to shame the devil & emerge victorious . Lo and behold , within 48 hours , his uncle was off the ventilator and was ready to go home. Wow ! What an amazing testimony !!

Yes my beloved, the Holy Spirit is awaiting to shame the devil in every circumstance/ crisis that you are presently facing. This is because God’s judgement is neither for the world nor for the born again believers, but it’s only for the devil who is judged.

Just feverishly hold on to the confession that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and you will see your real enemy put to shame before your eyes. You will be glorified on account of Jesus our LORD. Amen 🙏

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to convict the world that they need a Saviour who is Jesus to get rid of their problems in life.

This ministry of the Holy Spirit is also to convict the born-again believers that they are declared Righteous forever because they have accepted the Saviour & are washed by His blood.

The ministry of the Holy Spirit is also to convict and sentence the devil to be cast to his designated place called the lake of fire as judgment. Hallelujah!

Now, when you believe Jesus as your Saviour and confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, you are cooperating with the Holy Spirit, allowing Him to transform you into the same image of Christ. This aligns with 1 John 4:17 , “…. .as Christ is so are we in this world “. Amen 🙏

“To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians‬ ‭1:27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
‭‭II Corinthians‬ ‭3:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My beloved of the Lord, It’s so wonderful to greet you in this new month. The focus again this month is Christ! Hallelujah!

Putting together the above promises of January and February, we will realise that Christ in you and me is the reason for the transformation. The more He is revealed the more you will experience transformation.

Now, ‘Transformation’ in Greek is metamorphóō – from two words – meta meaning change and morphoo meaning taking on the form that properly embodies a particular inner-essence.
For example – transformation of mind means change of mind set from a mind set of defeat and confusion to a mind and life in complete harmony with the mind and life of Christ who is formed in you . You still have your mind but now it thinks exactly the way Christ thinks. That’s amazing & that’s transformation!
This is not behavioural change through one’s will-power but it’s thorough transformation by the power of the Spirit.

Secondly, Transformation cannot be just restricted to character or conduct alone , it touches every aspect of life that includes , relationships, physical body ( internal and external parts of the body) , emotions, our will etc.

Since transformation is by the Spirit of the Lord, our role is to confess that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus because His( Holy Spirit’s) primary ministration is Righteousness of God. We will get to see more of it in the ‘GFYT’ that will follow . Amen 🙏
