Encounter Jesus The King Of Glory & Be Endowed With Power To Overcome!
”Now when they had left the multitude, they took Him along in the boat as He was. And other little boats were also with Him. But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow. And they awoke Him and said to Him, “Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?” And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”“
Mark 4:36, 38, 41 NKJV
“The disciples took Jesus as He was” . The understanding of this phrase will solve many of our problems today.
These disciples of Jesus had an understanding of yesterday’s Jesus, because they saw Him as a Teacher who taught the multitude, great mysteries ( Mark 4:1-34) and now when the storm arose , they addressed Him as “ The Teacher” ( verse 38) to find solution to the tempestuous wind & the raging sea threatening their lives
But my friend, today’s problem needs a fresh understanding or a brand new revelation of Jesus, a tailor- made solution typically to solve the very problem effectively and stress-free. When Jesus rebuked the storm and spoke the sea there was a great calm.
This demonstration of His absolute authority made the disciples spell bound and awestruck and they wondered saying, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!?”
My precious friend, is that not awesome?
Yes, it is awesome! I can’t face today’s challenges with yesterday understanding of Jesus. He is the Great I AM who reveals Himself in ways beyond our comprehension. When challenges seem to overthrow you & threaten to capsize your life boat itself, you need a fresh understanding of Jesus – the King of Glory – the revelation for NOW that even the wind and the sea obey Him! Hallelujah!
Dear Daddy God, the Father of Glory, grant unto me a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of JESUS for NOW – The King of Glory ! Cause me to have this day a fresh understanding of Him who reigns forever and ever. Amen 🙏
