Behold Jesus the Lamb, experience resurrection !

Then Jesus said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” ‭‭ Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

You will never appreciate resurrection unless you first appreciate the need for the death of the Lamb.
People fail to appreciate or experience the power of His resurrection because they don’t have an insight into or a revelation of His death on the cross .
Many times I wondered as to why the disciples were sad every time the Lord Jesus revealed to them clearly and prophesied about His death even though He concluded it by saying that He would rise again .

My beloved , the power of Resurrection and the subsequent ascension and the glorification of our Lord Jesus can be best understood and experienced only when the Holy Spirit enlightens us with the revelation of the Lamb of God.

It was John the Baptist who was the first one to introduce Jesus the Messiah as the Lamb of God to Israel. Truly he had this revelation and therefore he was fearless about death. Eventually he was martyred & will surely have a better resurrection ( Hebrews 11:35).  Amen 🙏

Behold Jesus the Lamb, experience freedom !

“But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, today is the third day since these things happened.”‭‭Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There is no doubt that it is Jesus who is sent by God to redeem not only Israel but also the whole world that includes you and me.

But, the point of understanding that is required is whether the hope for deliverance that we yearn for is the right way that God intends to bring us the deliverance.

_Once a Pastor needed an electronic percussion pad for his church and the Lord assured him that soon he would be blessed with one. Immediately, the Pastor presumed that it would come through a particular well wisher . To his disappointment it never happened the way he thought & to his amazement, the Lord provided it through a person least expected. _

Yes my beloved, we too have gone through such experiences in our lives. But, the point we need to understand is that we need the Holy Spirit’s enlightenment to comprehend the ways of God in every single thing . True means of deliverance from bondage is by seeing Jesus the Lamb of God & true freedom is by knowing Jesus the Lamb of God through His Holy Spirit.

As you embrace the Lamb of God, His word will be the lamp unto your feet & a light unto your path, to guide you all throughout your life, until He returns to redeem us bodily. Hallelujah!
You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus & Christ in you is the transforming glory !

Behold Jesus the Lamb & experience transformation !

“And Jesus said to them, “What things?” So they said to Him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people, and how the chief priests and our rulers delivered Him to be condemned to death, and crucified Him.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭19‬-‭20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

As the conversation between Jesus and the two disciples was carried on, their eyes could not recognise the Lord with whom they were conversing. In their despair & saddness they narrated the evil that still continued despite good things that God had granted mankind.
Their confusion left them frustrated & they painfully wondered how could God allow such evil men to take charge to annihilate the good (crucify Jesus)?!

My beloved, Jesus is the Lamb of God who took away the sins of the world!
He was delivered into the hands of sinful and evil men so that He could deliver them & the entire mankind from sin that made them sinful and evil!  Hallelujah!

Yes my beloved, no matter how grave is your sinfulness or how die-hard is your habit that has made you addicted, behold Jesus the Lamb of God. Focus on Him and ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten you to see and perceive this Jesus who is made as God’s sacrificial Lamb exclusively for you and you will surely experience complete deliverance and your life will be transformed forever.  Amen 🙏

Jesus is God’s gift of Righteousness unto you & You are truly the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus by His blood!  Amen 🙏🏽

Behold Jesus the Lamb and truly begin to see His blessings!

….“Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!” ‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭29‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
But their eyes were restrained, so that they did not know Him. And He said to them, “What kind of conversation is this that you have with one another as you walk and are sad?”
Luke‬ ‭24‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

These were the two of disciples of Jesus who followed Him during the time He was on the earth. Jesus was crucified at that time and He also rose from the dead.

But, these disciples were very sad along with the rest because they couldn’t accept that the Messiah would die first. This is because the Jewish concept of Messiah was that He is the King who would redeem Israel from slavery and will reign forever – Messiah dying was unimaginable & unacceptable to them.
Even though the Lord Jesus Himself and the prophets of the Old Testament prophesied time & again that the Messiah would die for the redemption of mankind, yet these prophecies didn’t sink into their hearts.

The Lord Jesus got into a conversation with these two disciples to show the need for Him to become the Lamb of God to be slain in order to usher in the true deliverance.

These verses say that their eyes were restrained from seeing God’s ultimate blessing and they were sad because they failed to see Jesus as the the Lamb of God.

My beloved, as you have entered into 2023, know that the Lord has great blessings in store for you this year. Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus as the Lamb of God especially in this month of January. And your sorrows shall be turned into joy as a result and your eyes shall see when good comes.
You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus by His blood!  Amen 🙏

Happy New Year – 2023!

You are God’s beloved!!

Is there any better way to start the year than to know that you are God’s favourite and the most beloved child?

God calls you His beloved & His cherished possession. In you He delighted so greatly that He manifested in the flesh. His name is Jesus – God’s Lamb that was sacrificed to make you His beloved & His favourite.

_When I was in my primary school, my class teacher gave us a challenge saying that who ever finishes the home work first & is attentive in the class & is dressed clean & doesn’t cause disturbance in the class , will be the favourite student in her eyes. All of us tried our very best to meet her standard to be her favorite student but most of us faltered at least in one of the conditions. Finally one or two emerged almost close to meeting the standard but were the street smart ones so to speak. _

My beloved, there is no such condition laid before us to become God’s children or His favorite child .
All that is expected of us is to SEE JESUS always .
HE IS THE LAMB OF GOD – God’s ultimate solution to every hitch & hindrance by taking away the sin of the world!
These hindrances blur our ability to see God the way He truly is . Only when we see Jesus the Lamb, can we feel the warmth of His amazing love. His blood takes away that which caused the blindness. Jesus is God’s expression of His unconditional & ultimate love toward you !  Amen 🙏

Christ in me, The Glorious Hope !

“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My beloved of the Lord Jesus Christ, as we come to the end of this glorious year, we all should take the advice of Apostle Paul seriously. He knew for certain his identity in Christ Jesus. He always proclaimed his identity that he is the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus & he always sought for a fresh understanding of Christ’s Righteousness to reign in this life , eventhough he encountered a lot of trials and bad breaks.

But he did this one thing : forgetting the past and reaching forward toward God’s destiny for him. He realised two things while pursuing this ‘one thing’ : 1. There is no point dwelling in the past whether agonies or accomplishments whether stressful times or successful moments . 2. God has something awesome and more glorious in the future and need to press on towards the upward call.

My beloved, even so there is no point dwelling in past glories nor in the not-so-good 2022. One thing is for sure -Jesus Christ is Jehovah T’sidkenu and those who trust in Him will never be disappointed.  His first miracle at Cana of Galilee when He turned water into wine was the best. So also, the best from God for you is yet to come! 2023 will usher in His very best for you!!

If you are struggling to let go the past, you can take great comfort from the life of Joseph in the book of Genesis. He testified saying, “For God has made me forget all my toil and all my father’s house.”  and he named his son as *Manasseh. Genesis‬ ‭41‬:‭51‬ . Today God is giving you “the gift of Manasseh”- the ability of forget and forgive . Receive this gift and declare that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Christ in you is the Glorious hope unfolding in 2023 !  Amen 🙏

I thank you for joining me every day of this year in the devotional. I bow down in worship and adoration to my only Saviour and Lord Jesus the Mashaich for inspiring me through His Holy Spirit every single day faithfully without failing.

Christ in me, The Glorious Hope 

 

“*For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.”

Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭18‬, ‭22‬-‭23‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

 

My beloved, as we are coming to the close of this year, we may recall the times where there would have been ups and downs, times of disappointments, sicknesses and losses. But, Apostle Paul encourages us saying that these sufferings cannot be compared to the glory that shall be revealed in us. 

 

The whole creation of God is groaning until now for this glory to be revealed in us so that the whole creation can be delivered from futility through the redemption of our physical bodies, when God transforms us from the lowly bodies to His glorious body.

 

Christ is us is that hope of Glory! He Himself is the Glorious Hope!! The Holy Spirit in us will soon cause this hope to fruition & will also subdue all things to Himself whereby all our sorrows shall be turned into joy. Amen 🙏

“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.”

‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭19‬-‭21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

 

Recently, as I was meditating on the theme “The Word becoming flesh”,my heart asked me why was it that the Word should became flesh and not any other form of creation ? (Actually, the Word has the power to be incarnated into anything such as a plant or an animal or a creeping creature or a bird or a fish or as a tree or a stone or any other form of non living creation. )

 

But why the Word became human ? 

 

The answer came from within my spirit almost spontaneously saying – because it is man alone who sinned against God and fell short of God’s glory and the rest of the creation was subjected to futility for the sake of man’s self designed fall & was subjected to futility with the sure hope of redemption.

 

Jesus came to redeem men from sin and to restore them to glory by transforming them to be the sons of God. 

 

The whole creation is eagerly waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God which is possible only through Christ in mankind, the hope of this glory. 

 

My beloved, Jesus Christ is your righteousness! * *Christ in you is the manifestation of the fullness of God’s glory that culminates in transforming you to be the Son of God in the very image of Christ ! Amen 🙏

Christ in me, The Glorious Hope !

“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God,  so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭3‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Where Logos is God’s complete and infinite intelligence/ wisdom, Rhema is God’s speaking or spoken word that comes from His infinite intelligence (Logos).

This is the Word ( Rhema ) that comes forth from the mouth of God that brought into existence the entire creation of which we are part of & are witnesses.

When we hear this “Word” ( Rhema), faith proceeds and is consummated in us & through us as we keep hearing.

This is the “Word” ( Rhema) that the Lord Jesus quoted saying, “Man shall not live by bread alone but every Word( Rhema) that proceeds from the mouth of God.”

This is the Word ( Rhema) that resulted from Logos and is called “Jesus“. Hallelujah!

Jesus is God’s speaking Word that brings in you and for you, a complete and holistic solution.

My beloved, when you pray to the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to see Jesus, you are asking for a complete and permanent solution to all your problems.  Amen 🙏

Christ in me, The Glorious Hope !

“He who comes from above is above all;  he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭31‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The WORD in original Greek is “Logos” meaning God’s infinite intelligence!
Jesus is the WORD incarnate & the Word became flesh and blood .

Whereas, the first man was called Adam because he was made out of the dust of the ground. ‘Ground’ in the original Hebrew is called ‘ Adamah’. Adam is the derivation from Adamah whereas Jesus is the Incarnate Logos.

Jesus is from above, speaking the mind of God  whereas Adam is of the earth and so also all his descendants which includes you and me. We speak things that are of the earth. We are taught chemistry, physics, Biology, Geography ,Geology and so on . All these teach us concerning this earth. In this learning, a point will come when man will say as it is written in Ecclesiastes 1:9, “That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun.”. This is because our pursuit is of the earth that is under the sun.

But, Jesus comes to reveal to us the heavenly things. He is God’s supreme intelligence. He is the display of God’s splendour. Every time, the Holy Spirit reveals Jesus, you get to know something NEW!  Your understanding is greatly enriched . Your whole personality undergoes a complete transformation. Hallelujah!

My beloved, seek for a fresh understanding of Jesus.  _Let’s sincerely pray to God, our Heavenly Father morning and evening for the spirit of wisdom and revelation of Jesus _ that will bring in our lives both heavenly & a 360 degree earthly blessings! Amen 🙏
