Christ in me – God’s set time for my glory !

“Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” So Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:18-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There are two personalities in conversation:
1. One who thought that he is all good and expected a pat on his back, commending “well done” for keeping all the commandments of the law of Moses and
2.The Other who truly was and is all good and yet declined to be addressed as good rather points to God who alone is good.

What a contrasting mind set of these two people who fully kept the law! However, the demarcation between these two mindsets is the God’s kind of righteousness. Hallelujah!

The first followed the principles of the law and became rich monetarily , however the Other valued God as His true riches .
The first was brought up in the system of performance and he did well perform for his own benefit but the Other kept acknowledging the Presence (Holy Spirit) of His Father in Him and went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed( Acts 10:38).

My beloved, the true righteousness of God is not following a system of set of rules and regulations ( though we ought to obey rules) but the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus is a lifestyle led by the Spirit of God in everyone who believes (“acknowledging I can’t Lord but you can do it in and through me”).

When we confess that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus , we allow the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus to work out in us, the dynamics of the Holy Spirit and its first result is a guilt-free life , liberated from sin and death ( Romans 8:1,2) . Hallelujah! Amen 🙏

“Also He spoke this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, ‘God, I thank You that I am not like other men—extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this tax collector. And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me a sinner!’ I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other; for everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭18:9, 11, 13-14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Righteousness is not how good I am in comparison with others. But, the righteousness of God is to find out how good and patient Jesus is with me.

On the other hand, we have come to discuss what’s right according to the righteousness of God than to find out what’s wrong with you.

The above summarises the teaching of Jesus in the parable of the Pharisee and the Tax collector concerning what is the true righteousness of God.

The righteousness of God in Christ Jesus brings a right balance in the swinging of the pendulum between the extremes of self righteousness and self condemnation which is typically found in every human being.

When you attribute all your achievements and goodness to His grace that works out His righteousness in you that has resulted in all these achievements and goodness, then you will surely say like Paul, “I am who I am by the grace of God “ ( 1 Corinthians 15:10).

On the other hand, when you perceive and believe that Jesus became sin with your sinfulness so that you might become righteous with His righteousness, you will surely say, “ There is now no condemnation because I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus”.

My beloved, which direction is the pendulum swinging in your life?
The righteousness of God in Christ Jesus alone can establish you in peace and prosperity against all swinging moods in Jesus name! Amen 🙏

“A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.” Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”” John‬ ‭4:7, 9-10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

 

Discrimination on account of race, colour, caste, religion, language, country, gender or culture is because of the lack of understanding of God’s kind of Righteousness. Any person who truly seeks after or is blessed with the understanding of God’s kind of Righteousness, will never be overshadowed or be taken over by discrimination.

 

Conversation between Jesus and the Samaritan woman clearly reveals this truth.

Although being a Jew, Jesus never saw Himself above the samaritan woman whereas His country men did.

 

True evangelism is only possible when you understand God’s kind of righteousness.

On the other hand, the Samaritan woman, being victimised by such a discrimination, failed to perceive God’s set time in her life. Had she known the free gift of Righteousness, she would have received from God, the blessings in store that are far beyond her wildest imagination. She would have also escaped broken marital relationships which she suffered repeatedly for six times before she met Jesus .

 

My beloved, I write this with tears in my eyes. If only we knew Jesus and His free gift of righteousness, we would have asked Him and He would blessed us with mind blowing blessings. Even today, it is not too late. God in the person of Holy Spirit, is reaching out to offer you, Jesus the Christ and His free gift of Righteousness, to turn your sorrows into His joy, your sickness into His health, your penury into His prosperity.This is God’s set time!

Receive Jesus and His free gift of Righteousness. When nothing else works, confessing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus will surely work in Jesus name. Amen 🙏

They said to Him, “Teacher, this woman was caught in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses, in the law, commanded us that such should be stoned. But what do You say?” So when they continued asking Him, He raised Himself up and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him throw a stone at her first.” When Jesus had raised Himself up and saw no one but the woman, He said to her, “Woman, where are those accusers of yours? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said to her, “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.” John‬ ‭8:4-5, 7, 10-11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

 

As per the righteousness according to the law, it is right to stone the adulterous woman to death. *But, as per the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, no one is right*!

 

The righteousness by the law, requires the guilty to be punished but the righteousness of God in Jesus required the guilt to be punished on the body of Jesus whereby the guilty is acquitted. Hallelujah!

 

The righteousness of the law will definitely condemn everyone guilty, no matter how saintly he tried to live or how saintly he posed himself to be living. It is just a matter of time that true colors will come out exposing the real person. But, the righteousness of Jesus will justify even the most wretched sinner and transform him as an angel inside out*! *It’s awesome!

 

An encounter with Jesus alone will reveal the true righteousness of God. Therefore, the accused went home fully acquitted & the accusers went home convicted. Wonderful Jesus!!

 

 

My beloved, Jesus is the Righteousness of God*. He is Jehovah T’sidkenu! Everyone who believes that Jesus is their righteousness shall never be put to shame but the rest will stumble at the stumbling stone ( Romans 9:32,33).

 

I proclaim this morning that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus! Amen 🙏

Christ in me – God’s set time for my glory !

“The Lord executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed. He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the children of Israel.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭103:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When you hold on to His Righteousness and not your own, He makes known His ways to you and demonstrates His acts through you. Hallelujah!

Paul the Apostle during his life time, pursued after God’s righteousness and shunned his own ( Philippians 3:9). He gives a detailed list of his credentials & achievements as his own righteousness ( Philippians 3:4-6) and counted them all as loss in order to have God’s righteousness ( Philippians 3:7).

He goes on to declare that God’s Righteousness comes only through the revelation of Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:8-10).
The more the Holy Spirit reveals Jesus, the more you will understand God’s kind of Righteousness (The Right Way). The more you understand His Righteousness, the more you will experience His guidance and His miracle power. Amen 🙏

You will find His peace that passes all understanding only through His righteousness. Also you will experience His joy unspeakable, full of glory only *through His righteousness. This is ministered by the blessed Holy Spirit ( Romans 14:17).
His righteousness is His free gift to us . When you believe, receive and speak the way God declares you, that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, you will experience all these blessing as stated above and much more in Jesus name. Amen 🙏

“Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The Lord executes righteousness And justice for all who are oppressed.” Psalms‬ ‭103:4-6 NKJV‬‬

God crowns you with His favour and mercies so that you reign in this life: reign over sickness and diseases, reign over die- hard habits, reign over that which once reigned over you. You are predestined by God to reign in this life!

My beloved, fear cannot reign over you nor worries of life because God crowns you with His favour on basis of His righteousness. Hallelujah!
He executes Hisrighteousness to favour you! If you are oppressed in the place of work, the Lord executes His righteousness to favour you there today. No matter what is oppressing you, today the Lord executes His righteousness to crown you with favour that you may reign !

You are truly destined to reign because of God’s righteousness in Christ Jesus! This is God’s set time to reign in Jesus name !

Keep receiving the abundance of His favour through confessing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!! Amen 🙏

“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases,” Psalms‬ ‭103:1-3‬ ‬‬

The word “disease” in hebrew is “tachalu” which is used only 5 times in the Old Testament and each of the 5 times it refers to some grievous and dreadful disease that causes an excruciating pain probably ending in death. People suffering from such an obnoxious disease condition will seem like that they are under a curse, resulting from sin.

The Good news is that Christ Jesus took the curse of every human being and also every kind of sickness and diseases was laid on His very body . He became sin who knew no sin, who did no sin, in Him was no sin so that you and I can become the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
In other words, when we confess that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, we are protected from every disease and every sickness.

The righteousness of God in Christ Jesus insulates you from every harm that arises from plagues, famine, diseases whether pandemic or epidemic, from curses whether generational or not.

My beloved, I pronounce this ‘righteousness’ on everyone who is suffering & the Lord will surely restore him in Jesus name ! Amen 🙏

True thankfulness comes from your heart when you realise that God has forgiven all the sins of your past and keeps forgiving your sins moment by moment in the present too.
*The guilt of the past and the fear of failure in the present keeps us from truly enjoying His great love for us which causes thankfulness .
The constant self awareness that I might lose my salvation, the constant self awareness that I need to be spiritually disciplined, keeps me on a performance mindset to win His favour. This makes me to be focused on myself to feel guilty, whereas God loves me just the way I am irrespective of whether I fail or flourish .
Amen 🙏

Spiritual discipline such as regular praying , regular reading of the Bible, regular church fellowship & so on are very much needed . But the point is whether I am getting disciplined spiritually so that I can have more of God or I am allowing Him to have more of me that results in spiritual discipline!
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that those who believe in Him shall have everlasting life. When you allow Him to have you, then you have Him in you who energises you to be spiritually disciplined. Hallelujah!

The greatest gift that God has given us is the gift of righteousness. He declares you & me righteous moment by moment without any disruption because Jesus died for all our sins & for all times.
Allow this truth to sink in you.
Accept God’s declaration that every moment He sees you righteous by the power of the Blood of Jesus, whether you fail or not .
Just acknowledge Him by saying , “ I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus” and you will experience moment by moment liberty that will spring up true praise from within unto God . Amen 🙏

“And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.””
‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:47-49‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When God’s set time to favour you comes, verbalize your faith loud and clear. Let’s not recline & say, “If God wills, let Him do it “. That’s not faith. That’s not actually verbalising your eager expectation to come to pass. My beloved, to actualize your desire now, speak forth and cry out to Him as if it is ‘now or never’. Bartimaeus knew well that if he loses that opportunity by allowing Jesus to pass by, he may not get it again.

What is interesting is that when this blind man began to cry out, many threatened him to shut up. Was he chickened out by their threats? No, He cried out all the more. His confession began to be more feverish than before. Don’t allow any negative voice to talk you out of God’s intent to bring His miracle power upon you & through you . You are right now positioned in God’s set time to favour you in Jesus name!

Keep declaring that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus feverishly and the Lord will protect you from every wrong that is designed to distract you from your destiny or to destroy you before your time of destiny. No weapon fashioned against you will prosper because you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!
Also keep declaring, “Christ in me, actualises God’s set time to favour me now” and you will see it happen today!

Verbalize your faith to actualize His favour !!Amen 🙏

“And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. Then they called the blind man, saying to him, “Be of good cheer. Rise, He is calling you.” And throwing aside his garment, he rose and came to Jesus. So Jesus answered and said to him, “What do you want Me to do for you?” The blind man said to Him, “Rabboni, that I may receive my sight.” Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭10:47, 49-52‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

During those days the blind men wore a garment that signified that they were blind and they needed support & livelihood .
So also was this blind man Bartimaeus mentioned in the passage above who was on the road side, with his garment on & was begging alms.
The moment he heard that Jesus was passing by, he knew that the set time of God had come to favour him!
Immediately he cried out with all his heart and threw away his ‘ blind’ garment by which he showed his intent loud and clear that he wanted a change desperately. Yes, he wanted to break away from mediocrity and monotony to liberty. He wanted to move away from people’s mercy to God’s favour. He also wanted do away with support-lifestyle to walk in divine-destiny.

Yes my beloved, make your heart’s intent clear to God and the people around. Your cry will make Jesus to stand still and will cause you to hear His comforting voice. Thats the time to do away with the “old garment”.
God’s set time has come! Get into the action mode. Say to Him, “ Pass me not O Gentle Saviour…”.
You are at the brink of your miracle! Shake off the dust of the gloomy past! Throw off the old garment of “people-dependent “ for, it is better to trust God than to put confidence in people & princes.
As Jesus is reaching out to you, you reach out to Him. That contact is the intersecting point between ‘kairos’ and ‘chronos’, resulting in the miracle – net breaking abundance, divine health, promotion to the next level far beyond human ability & imagination! Amen 🙏
