Christ in me – God’s set time for my glory !
“A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.” Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans. Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”” John 4:7, 9-10 NKJV
Discrimination on account of race, colour, caste, religion, language, country, gender or culture is because of the lack of understanding of God’s kind of Righteousness. Any person who truly seeks after or is blessed with the understanding of God’s kind of Righteousness, will never be overshadowed or be taken over by discrimination.
Conversation between Jesus and the Samaritan woman clearly reveals this truth.
Although being a Jew, Jesus never saw Himself above the samaritan woman whereas His country men did.
True evangelism is only possible when you understand God’s kind of righteousness.
On the other hand, the Samaritan woman, being victimised by such a discrimination, failed to perceive God’s set time in her life. Had she known the free gift of Righteousness, she would have received from God, the blessings in store that are far beyond her wildest imagination. She would have also escaped broken marital relationships which she suffered repeatedly for six times before she met Jesus .
My beloved, I write this with tears in my eyes. If only we knew Jesus and His free gift of righteousness, we would have asked Him and He would blessed us with mind blowing blessings. Even today, it is not too late. God in the person of Holy Spirit, is reaching out to offer you, Jesus the Christ and His free gift of Righteousness, to turn your sorrows into His joy, your sickness into His health, your penury into His prosperity.This is God’s set time!
Receive Jesus and His free gift of Righteousness. When nothing else works, confessing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus will surely work in Jesus name. Amen 🙏
