Behold Jesus the Lamb & experience 360 degree completeness !
“And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men.”
Luke 2:52 NKJV
This is an amazing verse that gives us an insight into how we grow and in what areas we need to grow.
Jesus increased in wisdom ( it talks about His soul where there is intellect, understanding coupled with emotion and will). He increased in stature ( it talks of his physical growth and his personality through His soul). He increased in favour with God ( it talks of His spiritual side ) and He increased in favour with men ( it talks about His social life ).
I can understand His physical growth as He came into this world, born of a woman. But I presumed that He knew all things at all times since He is God manifested in the flesh. The Holy Spirit graciously explained that it is true that He is fully God and yet He is fully Man as well.
As a human being, He grew and His other faculties such as soulical, spiritual and social aspects began to attain completeness through the Word of God – both spoken and written. At His conception they were all completely embedded in Him and then the Word began to manifest through the Holy Spirit in Him and through Him.
So also my beloved, as you behold the Lamb of God, you begin to first of all experience that all your sins are taken away and Christ is born in you. * *Christ in you is now the embedded Word in you and you are already complete in Him ( Colossians 2:9,10). * *The embedded Word in you will begin to manifest in and through you by the Holy Spirit who is in you.
Therefore, when you read or hear the Word of God, the Holy Spirit will quicken the same Word that is written in the Holy Scriptures and also that is embedded in you, causing you to grow – 1. Physically; 2. Soulically ( Mind of Christ); 3. Spiritually( Inter- Indwelling Presence of God) and 4. Socially ( perfectly interacting with people around). Hallelujah!
