Behold Jesus the Reigning King and experience your rest !
The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” Psalms 110:1 NKJV
God’s way of causing victory is most times mind blowing!
We reign when we are seated ( enthroned). Sitting is a posture of rest . Resting in Christ’s finished work at the calvary causes you to reign in life.
Sitting simply means that the work is completed. When God completed His creation, He rested on the seventh day . Man was created on the sixth day so that he could enter into God’s labour and enjoy His finished work. God made sure that man is created after He completed the work of creation . Therefore, right from the beginning, man is called to rest in the finished work of God.
Yes my beloved, let’s learn to rest in His finished work . We don’t possess our inheritance by toiling rather we possess it by resting in what Jesus accomplished for us at the calvary’s Cross.
The best way to rest is to simply thank God. Thank you Jesus for you have paid the price. Thank you Jesus, your body was broken so that my body can be healed.
