Grace for you today !
Beholding Jesus, finds culmination of Christmas in me!
”For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” Luke 2:11-12 NKJV
Sign also means a “token” in the greek, just like we have a token advance given to clinch a deal or a contract.
A Token is like an advance given that looks forward to see the culmination of the deal.
So also, the sign given that Jesus the babe would lay in the manger that was meant for the cattle to find their feed , would be the food that will cause mankind greatness and to have everlasting life (Mathew 4:4; John 6:55-58).
Jesus lay in a manger that you may live in mansion( John 14:2)
Our local church serves as a manger today that is committed to feed the believers that causes them to attain their divine destiny (Hebrews 10:25). Hallelujah!
I encourage everyone of you to connect with a Spirit-led church consistently, even if it is online (because of circumstances) where you find Jesus preached, Jesus is in the centre stage & Jesus alone is promoted so that the culmination of the sign given on the First Christmas may take place in your life, for you are the culmination of the sign. That’s Good News!
God’s thoughtfulness of mankind brought Jesus down from Heaven to earth & our thoughtfulness of Jesus brings us up to the heavenly. Amen 🙏
