Beholding Jesus is Knowing the Father!
Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and came from God; nor have I come of Myself, but He sent Me. Why do you not understand My speech? Because you are not able to listen to My word.”
John 8:42-43 NKJV
The Lord Jesus proceeded from God. He alone knows God in and out because He Himself is God.
This was the biggest mind block among the Jews then. They could not accept when the Lord Jesus claimed that He proceeded from the Father, for God dwells in an unapproachable light ( 1Timothy 6:16). To them, “ how can a man frail like them can claim that He is from God? Also, how can He claim this God as His Father and that too the only begotten Son?” This claim by the Lord Jesus made Him greater than all prophets including Moses. This was not acceptable for the religious minds.
Even today, many find it difficult to accept that Jesus is the Son of God and also
He proceeded from God who is His Father. They compare Him with one of the great saints or gods.
But the truth is that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one can come to the Father except through Him.
My beloved, even as you accept this truth, God becomes your Father and you will experience His amazing Way of exaltation, provision and prosperity this week and His life will enlighten you and restore you to your youthfulness in Jesus name. Amen 🙏
