Encounter Jesus The King Of Glory and Reign Through His Unmerited Blessings!

“‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.” Is the seed still in the barn? As yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit. But from this day I will bless you.’ ” ‭‭Haggai‬ ‭2‬:‭9‬, ‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“The glory of the latter temple shall be greater than the former.”

Here the Prophet prophesies that the days are coming when God’s people will experience far greater glory by the pure virtue of the latter covenant.

The former covenant is the covenant established by the obligation to perform God’s law given out by Moses. This was a demand placed on a bankrupt mankind . No one could keep the law continuously all the time in all things. As a result, instead of keeping the law, people under the old covenant broke the law, therefore instead of being blessed they were under curse. But, under the latter covenant or the new covenant , people experienced undeserved grace and glory which is far greater today than the former or the old covenant.

Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 3:9 NLT, “If the old way (covenant), which brings condemnation, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new way (covenant), which makes us right with God!”
“This is a covenant not of written laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death; but under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬b NLT‬‬

Under the Law, unclean thing will make even the clean thing as unclean, but under Grace, clean thing will make even the unclean thing as clean. This was implemented by the coming of Jesus, when He touched the unclean man with leprosy and his leprosy vanished away and he became clean ( Mathew 8:2,3).

Yes my beloved, this same Jesus can make you completely clean. His Righteousness makes you right in the sight of God. This is what God meant when He spoke through Haggai, “From this day I will bless you”.

The moment you say, ‘Yes to Jesus, Yes to His Grace, Yes to His Righteousness, the unmerited & irreversible blessings begin to flow into you and through you to others.

I receive the abundance of undeserved favor and of the gift of unblemished righteousness of Jesus!
I am a new creation, old things have passed away!! I am the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!!! Amen 🙏

Encounter Jesus The King Of Glory and Reign Through The Latter Glory !

“‘The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’ says the Lord of hosts. ‘And in this place I will give peace,’ says the Lord of hosts.”” ‭‭Haggai‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When we build our lives based on what Jesus did for us and as us, on the Cross of Calvary (Finished Work), the LORD of hosts will cause us to experience God’s wealth, God’s fame and God’s peace. Hallelujah!

We are the temple of the Holy Spirit and God delights in seeing Jesus in us. The point is not whether we have experienced His undeserved favour based upon His unblemished righteousness once upon a time, but the question is whether I am trusting and resting on His Grace and His Righteousness every day continuously & in all things.

In this regard, Apostle Paul’s words keep ringing in my ears “How foolish can you be? After starting your new lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort?” Galatians‬ ‭3‬:‭3‬ ‭NLT‬‬

My beloved, do we rest on His unmerited favor every day ? “I was blind but now I see”- Is this revelation of His Righteousness my testimony every day?
The human nature always has the tendency to drift into human achievements through human efforts.

Does the confession that I am the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus works in me producing God’s wealth, God’s fame and God’s peace?

Is “ freely I receive and freely I give” my motto through which I reign in life – reign over exclusiveness & reign over selfishness (grace that is only focussed on me and my family)?
What is the purpose of the Gospel of Christ? Is it not the world / my neighbourhood lessed through me?
Is it not that the 7 fold blessings of Abraham that states “ in you all the families of the world be blessed” meant to culminate in lives around me?

“GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON”

This is the real purpose of CHRISTMAS!

I am the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Freely I receive and freely I give (no strings attached) Amen 🙏

Encounter Jesus The King Of Glory and Reign In This Life As Kings By His Favor!

“Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways! Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the Lord.” Haggai‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Prophet Haggai’s instruction was to go to the mountain ( Calvary) and bring wood ( Cross) and build the temple.

Apostle Paul says, “your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit” ( 1 Corinthians 6:19).

Considering these two, we are instructed to build our lives based on what Jesus did for us and as us, on the Cross of Calvary.

He died while we were yet sinners and ungodly. There wasn’t any good found in us that God’s Son was obliged to die.

It is undeserved favour of God’s Son and His unblemished right acts (His Righteousness) that builds our lives to bring His irreversible blessings.

Therefore, those who receive abundance of His undeserved favour and His unblemished righteous acts, will reign in life.

How well you reign in life depends upon how well you receive His undeserved grace and His unblemished right doing! Amen.

God takes pleasure in you when you simply believe and receive and not try to attain. When you receive His undeserved favour and His unblemished righteousness, God is glorified.

If your blessings come by your efforts then the blessings can be retained by your efforts alone. But, if your blessings come from His undeserved favour then, the blessings are retained by His favour alone. His favour becomes responsible to ensure continued blessings in your life and you live stress free .Amen 🙏

God doesn’t want you to strive. He wants you to thrive in life because Jesus strived starting from the garden of Gethsemane where He sweated blood, to the Cross of Calvary where He completely shed every drop of His blood for you .

Today I receive the abundance of His undeserved favour and of His gift of unblemished righteousness in Jesus name! Amen 🙏

I am the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. God takes pleasure in this confession of mine and He is glorified. Amen 🙏

Encounter Jesus The King Of Glory On The Mountain & Be Glorified !

““You have sown much, and bring in little; You eat, but do not have enough; You drink, but you are not filled with drink; You clothe yourselves, but no one is warm; And he who earns wages, Earns wages to put into a bag with holes.” Thus says the Lord of hosts: “Consider your ways! Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the Lord.”
‭‭Haggai‬ ‭1‬:‭6‬-‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When things do not go the way we wish to, we often question God. Why me alone ? Have I not toiled much?
My beloved, the question is what have I prioritised in my life?

Prophet Haggai gets a fresh understanding of the LORD of hosts – that the Kingdom of God works on His Grace where human efforts are bare minimum & yet Divine results are maximum. But, much efforts yet little yield, earning well yet not able to make ends meet , saving well but still unnecessary expenses deplete the savings and the like, are contrary to the Kingdom grace.

The Lord Jesus Christ instructed us to seek first the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all things that we look for will be added to us. “Thy Kingdom Come” consciousness matters most.
Secondly, the Prophet admonishes us to go to the mountain and bring wood which means to go to the Cross of Christ on the Calvary. It is at the Cross we were forgiven completely and declared righteous forever to be blessed forever.

Yes my beloved, it is trusting Jesus’ works that brings blessings and not my obedience/ hard work.
It is resting on His finished work that brings His blessings.
It is not that I worked and I am blessed. It is because Jesus worked that God is bound to bless me .
I simply believe and rest my case on what He has done for me at the Cross of Calvary. Hallelujah!

I simply confess that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and receive His grace( minimum effort but maximum results).

My efforts are simply to believe, receive and confess.
My effort is only that, ‘freely I receive and freely I give’. I am not the end recipient of God’s grace rather I am the means to the end. Amen 🙏

Encounter Jesus The King Of Glory and Be Blessed From This Day !

“Is the seed still in the barn? As yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit. But from this day I will bless you.’ “ ‭‭Haggai‬ ‭2‬:‭19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Yes my beloved ! Last week we concluded saying ,
“The King of Glory restores us from the lost glory to the throne of glory!”

Who is this King of Glory? He is the LORD of hosts and we find Prophet Haggai was given a fresh revelation of the LORD of hosts and in his book he explains how the LORD of hosts restores us from the lost glory to the greater glory of the latter house ( the latter part of your life).

In his book called ‘Haggai’ of two chapters, he mentions “the LORD of hosts” 14 times & he details the reason why we aren’t blessed despite our best efforts ( Chapter 1). He brings us to reflect on our doings: a message from the LORD of hosts that culminates in the revival of the hearts of people that is broken and frustrated because of long term captivity.
Then he proceeds to bring in the message of Restoration from the LORD of hosts saying, “From this day, I will bless you”. Hallelujah!

Yes my beloved of the Lord Jesus Christ, the King of Glory, the LORD of hosts, from this day, during this great festive season, revives & restores us to greater glory- glory unimaginable and unfathomable as you encounter Him! Amen 🙏

Remember, Jesus has removed the greatest hurdle in your progress called ‘sin’ out of your life and has made you righteous forever. Now it takes your mind to align with Him to experience the greater glory. From this day forth the LORD of hosts blesses you! Amen 🙏

“He raises the poor from the dust And lifts the beggar from the ash heap, To set them among princes And make them inherit the throne of glory. “For the pillars of the earth are the Lord’s, And He has set the world upon them.” ‭‭I Samuel‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The LORD of hosts looks upon our afflictions with great compassion.
The LORD of hosts lifts us up from our lowly state.
The LORD of hosts locates us with Himself in the highest to reign forever.

No matter the condition you are in presently, the LORD of hosts fights your battle.
From what is seemingly a defeated condition, He lifts you up with His lifting Glory and positions you to reign with His reigning Glory. Your sorrows are turned into great joy today !

Millions have experienced the compassionate & yet the all conquering LORD of hosts. Likewise you too will experience this Great God – our Father today in a brand new way in Jesus name! Amen 🙏

The King of Glory restores you from the state of lost glory to the throne of greatest glory! Amen 🙏

“And Hannah prayed and said: “My heart rejoices in the Lord; My horn is exalted in the Lord. I smile at my enemies, Because I rejoice in Your salvation. “No one is holy like the Lord, For there is none besides You, Nor is there any rock like our God.”
‭‭I Samuel‬ ‭2‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This was Hannah’s testimonial prayer! She encountered the LORD of hosts and pleads with Him to look upon her broken state and then her heart rejoices in the LORD of hosts.

She knew that she was humiliated because of her barrenness but the LORD of hosts revoked her humiliated state & exalted her beyond her wildest imagination.

She was mocked and looked down with contempt by her adversaries but now she is smiling at them . Shame, agony, mockery & humiliation have become her footstool.

Nothing is sweeter than experiencing the unparalleled victory. This unparalleled victory is because of the unparalleled awesome God we serve. The LORD of hosts is His Name & He is the holiest, He is unparalleled in saving a soul and He is unmatched when He lifts the lowliest to be seated with Him at the highest. There is NONE like Him!

Who is this King of Glory? The LORD of hosts is the King of Glory.
Who is the LORD of hosts? The LORD JESUS CHRIST, He is the LORD of hosts. Amen 🙏

“Then she made a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a male child, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and no razor shall come upon his head.””
‭‭I Samuel‬ ‭1‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Anything initiated by God and finds it culmination in God, will surely prosper!

Hannah made a vow after she received the revelation of God as the LORD of hosts.

Her vow was to see her request find its culmination in God, even as she gave back the child to the LORD of hosts. Samuel remained God’s property forever. She had lent to the LORD (1 Samuel 1:28). But God is debtor to no one, He rewarded Hannah with 3 more sons and 2 daughters ( 1 Samuel 2:21).

God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son Jesus as His supreme sacrifice that brought salvation to the whole human race.

What kind of sacrifice can we give in return?
We can offer our bodies to God Almighty as a living sacrifice ( Romans 12:1,2). Yes!

Any vow made should be well within the control of the one who makes the vow . It should be initiated by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It should result in the benefit of the people and culminate in God. That’s God-kind righteousness!

When “Ask and it shall be given” ( Mathew 7:7) does not work then “ Give and it shall be given to you” ( Luke 6:38) will work invariably.

God the Father is a giver not only to the righteous but also to the wicked ( Mathew 5:45) and so are the sons of the Father God (5:43-45).
He is never a debtor. He will immensely reward you . Amen 🙏

Hannah was the first one to have the revelation of God as the LORD of hosts. She had this revelation when she was very broken and was in the most distressed state.

She prayed and prayed without any result and didn’t know what else to do next.
It is one thing that you don’t have what normally every woman should have but then it is completely a different thing when one goes through the social stigma for being barren.
It is really heartbreaking & provoking! On one side you are childless, going through shame and mockery and on the other side your prayers don’t find God’s attention. It looks like God has left you abandoned. It’s really provoking!!

It is in this provoking time, in tears and helplessness she invokes God, the LORD of hosts to fight her battles. The LORD of hosts , the King of Glory looked upon her affliction and revoked the sentence on the “irreversibly closed womb”.

My beloved, touching the issues you are currently facing that makes you feel provoked to leave prayers, leave Jesus, leave His Church , please be assured this morning that the LORD of hosts is on your side!

He looks on your affliction. He will revoke the situation you are facing that seems irreversible. Just invoke the LORD of hosts, just the way Hannah did . The LORD of hosts fights your battles. Sit still and see the salvation of the LORD this day.
I declare today that the battle belongs to the LORD of hosts and the victory is yours in Jesus name ! Your sorrows are turned into great joy! Amen 🙏

Encounter Jesus The King Of Glory and Reign in this life as Kings!

“Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭24‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My beloved as we begin this month – the final month of this year 2024, many among us feel that this year is already gone and now we are waiting for 2025 hoping that something good will come out at least in the coming year. But, may I boldly confess that God is not fully done with us this year and He will surely sign off in style! Hallelujah!! He is God & He is the King of Glory!

Who is this King of Glory ? The LORD of hosts is the King of Glory!
It is interesting to note that the LORD of hosts appears 245 times in the Scriptures. In all the references, we find God Almighty fighting our battles : He is the Strength to the weak. He is the Judge to the oppressed. He is the greatest Provider to the poor . He is health to the sick and life to the dead. He opens gates that are shut and closes doors which no man can open.

The first time, the LORD of hosts mentioned is in the life of Hannah, the mother of one of the greatest prophets of all times called Samuel. Her womb was irreversibly closed but the LORD of hosts opened it.

My beloved, the God of Hannah, the LORD of hosts, fights your battles and brings to fulfillment, all the promises concerning you, this very month starting from today in Jesus name ! Amen 🙏

You are the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!
