“and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.
But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭14:24-25, 27‬

All is well as long as we are in the comfort zone / secured zone ,even when the presence of Jesus is absent. The boat in which the disciples were sailing was a secured / comfort zone even though the Lord Jesus wasn’t with them until contrary winds blew against the boat and their comfort zone began to terrify them.
Are you going through similar experience ? Is your comfort/ security ….the person you were relying on or a place or a job shaken ?
Be of good cheer my beloved ! This is what the Lord is still saying (to you personally now ). For, even if the God father like mountains depart or well wishers like hills be removed but My kindness shall never depart nor shall My covenant of peace be removed , says the Lord . (Isaiah 54:10)
Even if the mother forsakes her child I will never forsake you says the Lord ( Isaiah 49:15)
What an awesome assurance given by the Lord Jesus !
He is longing for you to come to Him and have His rest .
Just look unto Jesus , He has paid the price so that you can never to forsaken not feel shaken (insecure).

“And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!”
‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭15:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This is a wonderful defense from the Apostle Paul where he clarifies to those who had doubts whether Jesus is truly risen or not.He says if Christ is not risen , then there is nothing to believe and we are still in sins .

Let’s put the same statement in reverse order : If Christ is risen , then your faith has meaning and is full of power.Importantly ,you are not in sins at all anymore.
Some of us struggle to believe on the teaching that all our sins ( past , present and future) were forgiven .
A few ask for reference and here is the reference and this is the defense -* God who is eternal , not living in time , can see the past , the present and the future sins of mankind . He took all these sins and placed it on the body of Jesus Christ and completely punished all sin on the body of Jesus *- Romans 8:3.* Thereby, God has put away all sins even before we came into existence .*
God raised Jesus from the dead , leaving behind all sin in hell so that we can walk in newness of life -Romans 6:4
If you believe this, you will experience the resurrection power and live victoriously in all aspects of live.

“Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭23:34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

There is no way anyone can plead forgiveness for those who have done wrong willfully unless the pleader is so full of love . The more Jesus was squeezed the more the love that oozed out .
All of us in our weakest moment or sickness or tiredness or lowest times of life ,speak out words of frustration hurting the hearer.
But Jesus, while He hung on the Cross after being ruthlessly tortured, spoke these gracious words to His Father to forgive them .
This one single prayer took care of all our sins for all times whether committed in the past or present or in the future

*Willing acceptance of His forgiveness gives us the power not to sin . *
Our greatest sin is self righteousness and it blocks our willingness to receives His forgiveness. If I have to define self righteousness, the space here will be insufficient . To explain in simple terms ,expressions like “ I can , I know , I am better etc” are manifestation of self righteousness, trusting in our ability or boasting in oneself.
Let’s shun such self righteousness and accept willingly His love by receiving His forgiveness & boast in God’s Righteousness!
