“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it ( Gospel) the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans‬ ‭1:16-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

If we hear the true Gospel, we will surely experience the Power of God in every area of our life. This is because in the Gospel, the Righteousness of God is revealed.

If I am blessed because I did something good then it’s my righteousness ( right doing ) that has earned the blessing.
On the other hand, if I don’t do anything good or I do something wrong and am still blessed, it’s because Jesus did things right ( He died for my sins and rose from the dead- declaring me the Righteousness of God) This is the true Gospel or the Good news, which is too good to be true. Hallelujah!

It may sound that I am promoting or giving license to sin .No, I’m Not. Instead, I am promoting God’s Goodness in spite of our unfaithfulness, – “for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:45‬ ‭

My beloved, you are made righteous because of Jesus’ right doing. Every time you speak that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus because you believe that you are made righteous by Jesus , the Power of God is released upon your life .
Receive His gift of Righteousness and speak forth !

“In His days Judah will be saved, And Israel will dwell safely; Now this is His name by which He will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭23:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

If you search the Scriptures, you will find God revealing Himself in a unique way as per the need of the hour. For example, He revealed Himself as Jehovah Rapha ( I am the Lord who heals) when the children of Israel went without water for 3 days in the wilderness and came to a pool that tasted bitter ( Mara) which needed healing to be potable water as in
Exodus 15:26.

However, in Jeremiah 23:6 , It was prophetically revealed that a time will come when God will reveal Himself as “Jehovah T’sidkenu “ or “THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS” which means God will impute Righteousness into every human being by just believing & without him working out his way to attain to righteousness.
This was fulfilled when Jesus became sin with our sinfulness so that we could become righteous with His righteousness at the Cross ( 2 Corinthians 5:21). Hallelujah!

Today, Jesus is your Righteousness in fulfilment of Jeremiah 23:6. He is Jehovah T’sidkenu! It’s amazing!!
Jesus is the Gift of Righteousness! Every time you receive the Gift of Righteousness, you simply shun your means to attain to righteousness and just rely on God to work out His righteousness in you to bring out blessing in every area of your life – health , wealth , good life , peaceful family life , children’s education and their security, promotion in your career , prosperity in business , holy living ( thoughts) and the list goes on.

My beloved, every day ( especially when you face challenges or succumb to pressure or lustful pleasure) receive of the Gift of Righteousness and confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus & you will experience effortless deliverance sooner or later. It’s sure & certain! Amen 🙏

“Seventy weeks [of years, or 490 years] have been decreed for your people and for your holy city (Jerusalem), to finish the transgression, to make an end of sins, to make atonement (reconciliation) for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness (right-standing with God), to seal up vision and prophecy and prophet, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.” Daniel‬ ‭9:24‬ ‭AMP‬‬

This is an awesome prophecy ushered in by angel Gabriel to Daniel, the prophet at the time when Israel was in captivity in Babylon due to their unfaithfulness and transgressions against their God.

Daniel was seeking God Almighty for His mercies that Israel should be restored back to their land. (It is revealed clearly when we read the chapter 9 as the Prophet seeks after God’s righteousness and shuns his own).
As he was seeking the Lord God of Heaven, the angel comes down with this awesome prophecy stating that the Messiah (Christ) will come and make an end of sins and transgressions( at the Cross this was fulfilled) and bring in EVERLASTING RIGHTEOUSNESS to all people not only for Israel *, *so that all humanity will be in Right standing with God forever ( God demonstrated this by raising Jesus from the dead. Romans 4:25). Hallelujah!

Yes my beloved, today if you believe that God raised Jesus from the dead and that Jesus is even the Lord over death and hell & He lives forevermore, you are made RIGHTEOUS FOREVER. No more sin , no awful past, no unpleasant agonies of present can separate you from the Living God. You are in Right standing with the God of the Universe. Today is your day of blessing. Old things have passed away because JESUS IS YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS! Amen 🙏

“Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin:The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification. For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:16-17‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The above two verses are mind blowing and beyond human reasoning.
The author of the Gospel of Christ writes that the Gift of righteousness can impact the most wretched sinner to the point he loses his love for sin and gains deep passion for righteousness unto holiness.

Apostle Paul the author, contrasts between one man’s ( Adam) single offence which plunged the whole human race into condemnation and death & the Lord Jesus’ free Gift of Righteousness. The free Gift of righteousness works exactly the opposite way- despite repeated failures ( sinful habits), the free Gift of righteousness works in every one who receives it ( every moment ) by transforming him inside out, moving him /her from die hard sinfulness to detesting sin unto passion for righteousness unto holiness, from being subject to death to reigning in life because of One Man’s (Jesus Christ) complete obedience to God. Hallelujah!
This is the power of the Gospel . Amen 🙏

My beloved, God never gives up on you no matter how many times you have failed Him. Don’t give up on receiving the gift of righteousness every day, every moment and the abundance of grace. You are a Champion , destined to reign over all intimating forces of darkness .
Be steadfast in your confession that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Amen 🙏

“Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

“One man’s offense” refers to Adam’s disobedience and “one Man’s righteous act” refers to Jesus’ act.
There are the two unfair things mentioned here in the above verse.
Firstly , because of one man – Adam’s disobedience judgement came to all men, resulting in condemnation and death. That means I am judged, condemned and eventually die not because I sinned but because Adam sinned. This is UNFAIR! Why should I go through the consequences of what Adam did? You said it !

Secondly, because of Jesus’s obedience, blessings have come to all men, resulting in righteousness and life forever. Hallelujah! That means I am blessed, made righteous and live forever not because I did good things but because Jesus completely obeyed God and kept every commandment. This too is UNFAIR! Why and how can I be blessed for the righteous acts of Jesus? He deserves it all and not me. You said it !

My beloved , if you trace back your past and say that you are a victim of unfairness . You have been robbed of promotion, bonus, health or good life, let me tell you that there is a greater unfairness that is seeking you this morning to pin you down with God’s highest goodness & super abundance.

For this to happen, just receive what Jesus did on your behalf and it just takes your active and passionate confession, “ I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS.”
Yes my Friend, True Grace is truly UNFAIR !

“For He (God) made Him ( Jesus ) who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (Christ).” II Corinthians‬ ‭5:21‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

This is a marvellous verse in the Holy Scriptures.
Jesus knew no sin ( as seen above )
Jesus did no sin ( 1 Peter 2:22)
In Jesus was no sin ( 1 John 3:5)
So, how was Jesus made sin when He knew no sin, did no sin and in Him was no sin ?
The answer is found in the same verse. God made Jesus to be sin and Jesus on His part, received our baggage to become sin. For whom ? For us ! Because God so loved the world ( you and me) that He made Jesus to become sin for us. What a mind blowing love, full of passion and compassion! Hallelujah!

But what is the purpose? The same verse says “that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ”. This is the purpose of His suffering for us.

How do we become the righteousness of God in Christ? The same way Jesus became sin who knew no sin. So also, God made us the righteousness of God in Christ who know no righteousness. We need to passionately receive this gift of righteousness.
Jesus who knew no sin, did no sin and in Him was no sin, became sin so also, we, who know no righteousness, did no righteous act and in us is no righteousness become the righteousness of God in Christ.

You are expected to receive this truth wholeheartedly ( this is believing ) and confess with your mouth that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. ( Romans 10:10).
My beloved, let’s believe and confess this throughout this day, during this week and the rest of our life. Amen 🙏

“For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭5:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

These are the words of our precious Saviour Jesus Christ.
The Scribes and the Pharisees were the religious leaders. They were the role models for the people to follow. They were blameless in their religious observances. People look up to them for guidance even today. Obviously, people must have believed that the Scribes and the Pharisees should be the first to enter the kingdom of Heaven.

In a culture where the Pharisees were considered to be the epitome of righteousness, the above statement should have blown everyone’s minds. If the Pharisees weren’t righteous enough to enter the kingdom of heaven, what is the hope for the rest ?!
Secondly , what is the kind of righteousness that is acceptable to God that exceeds the righteousness of these religious leaders?

The Lord Jesus showed that they need to do everything that the Pharisees did & also have a perfect righteous thought life. Wow! The whole idea behind the Lord’s teaching on righteousness was to shun our attitude or trust to earn God’s favor by keeping a set of rules by our own strength. Rules are important but if the rules become the yardstick for measuring one’s righteousness it leads to arrogance & pride by comparing. “I keep more rules than you , so I’m more righteous than you!” This stout attitude is bound to set in our hearts. This is the simplest form to explain “self righteousness”.

We cannot trust in our own righteousness. This is ultimately the reason why the death and the resurrection of Jesus is so important. In Jesus, our righteousness exceeds that of the Pharisees because Christ’s righteousness is the perfect & the ultimate. It is imputed to us just by believing & it’s a free gift. The goodness that I get from Christ far exceeds even the holiest of the Pharisees. Hallelujah!
Keep confessing, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus” to shun self righteousness and draw the best of blessings from His righteousness.Amen 🙏🏽

What the world needs today is the Gospel !  Yes, the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Gospel means Good news, that God has brought an eternal redemption plan for the entire human race – whether Jews or gentiles, white or black, male or female , child or adult.

Man tries to please God , do everything possible to earn God’s favor/ His blessing. He believes that by doing right he will be righteous and then will be blessed. This is what the law teaches. In fact, every religion teaches so. But the truth is this – “For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells;” Romans‬ ‭7:18‬a. So, if nothing good dwells in me how can I do good ? Enough good to be acceptable in the sight of God ?

This necessitates God Himself to do good through Jesus on our behalf and make us Righteous independent of us- not only acquitted when judged for our wrong doing but also Justified ( Righteous) which is to rightfully claim every blessing of God. This is the Good News – the Gospel of Christ.
How do you obtain this righteousness? By Faith! By confessing , “ I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus” Amen 🙏

Excellency of Dignity and Power!

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭46:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God wants us to let Him have the final say in every matter that concerns our life. The woman who was brought before the Lord Jesus to be stoned was vindicated and justified by the Lord when she let Jesus have the final say in her matter.

Two women fighting over one living child, each claiming it as her own, the true mother was vindicated and given justice even as she let go her right over her own child.

When Jesus hung on the cross, stripped off of everything, helpless, condemned to death, rejected by men, He committed His spirit into the hands of God the Father by saying, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ ” Having said this, He breathed His last.” (Luke‬ ‭23:46‬). As a result, God raised Jesus from the dead thus declaring Him both Lord and Christ.

My beloved, this is the power of letting go & surrender. When we allow God to have the final say, He will be exalted, in other words, we are exalted in Him. Hallelujah!

As we come to the end of this month, what matters the most is to believe God raised Jesus from the dead because there is nothing more hopeless than death, yet Jesus conquered death & sin and declared us Righteous. By this He has given us a living hope that we shall be as He is – eternal, invincible and incorruptible , born again into the excellence of dignity and power. Amen 🙏

Excellency of Dignity and Power!

“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭46:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Good morning beloved! This is a very familiar passage of the Holy Scriptures – “ Be still and know that I am God.” I have read this so many times and sang songs based on this verse. However, yesterday during the Sunday service , as one of our leaders was sharing the word, I had a fresh understanding of this lovely verse.

The word “ Be still “ in the original Hebrew is “Rephah” which means to relax,to let go, to withdraw, to surrender. In fact, Rephah is the root word for Repha which means healing.

If we now replace the real meaning of “Be still”, it will surely make lot of sense in our present struggles that we are going through.

Yes my beloved, you have just started this week. What is your present concern? Is it your month end target , your ill health , may be you haven’t seen your breakthrough yet or is it concerning your children ? Just let go , relax , surrender to the Holy Spirit. He will ensure that you have the miracle you are looking for. New thing is happening NOW!

You are a new creation in Christ, a brand new person, old things have passed away. You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The Firstborn blessings are yours. Keep your confession on feverishly and God will cause you to leap over walls and skip the protocols. Amen 🙏
