Christ My Glory!
“For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in spirit, rejoicing to see your good order and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.”
Colossians 2:5NKJV
My beloved, as we come to the end of this week, I wish to once again highlight what we have been discussing throughout this week.
This week the Lord has impressed upon our hearts an understanding of Colossians 2:6,7 “As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.”
It is very interesting to also note the precious verse stated for today’s meditation. This will also help us to understand the context of this week’s study.
God delights to see you and me in good order – your health, your family , your studies, your finances , your children, your business and profession, ALL in good order! Yes, everything that concerns you in good order. This is what God longs for and delights in. Hallelujah!
Then what does He look for as a response from you ?
The same verse reveals “ steadfastness of your faith in Christ” . Faith in Christ always refers to Righteousness of faith in Christ Jesus . What does it mean? It means that God delights to see me in good order in all areas of my life and He expects me to be only steadfast & continuous in confessing , “I am the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus” .
My beloved, let’s hold on to this confession and experience good order in every aspect of our lives. Amen 🙏
