“Dwelling in Christ (The Secret Place) makes Christ in you, the Living Shelter.”
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
Psalm 91:1
Beloved,
Psalm 91 is one of the most cherished portions of Scripture, especially among the Jewish people. A believer who understands “the secret place” and makes a deliberate decision to dwell in God will not become a victim of evil, will soar in life, and will experience the realities of the Spirit realm.
The phrase “the secret place” comes from the Hebrew word סֵתֶר (sēter), meaning a hidden, covered place of protection and intimacy.
It is not a physical location but a divine position—to be hidden in God Himself.
When we examine sēter through the rule of Scripture interpreting Scripture, profound truths emerge:

📖 Psalm 27:5
Sēter is linked to God’s dwelling—His tabernacle.
👉 The secret place is where God dwells, not where man hides himself.
📖 Psalm 25:14
Sēter is linked to divine counsel and intimacy.
👉 The secret place is where God shares His mind.
📖 Psalm 32:7
👉 The secret place is not a location—it is a Person.
📖 Exodus 33:21–22
👉 The secret place is the Person of Christ, in whom God hid Moses and revealed His awesome glory.
My beloved, when you choose to make the Word of Christ your dwelling place (for God and His Word are one), you live continually hidden in Christ.
Protection becomes your atmosphere.
Exaltation comes seeking you.
And the Spirit of Glory positions you in the highest realm,
in Jesus’ Name!
Prayer
Father of Glory,
I thank You for revealing the secret place as Christ Himself.
I choose to dwell in Your Word and remain hidden in Christ.
Let Your shadow rest upon me,
Let Your glory surround me,
And let Your Spirit position me in victory, honor, and peace.
I walk today under divine covering and supernatural favor,
In the Name of Jesus Christ.

Confession of Faith
I dwell in Christ, the Secret Place of the Most High.
I abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
Christ in me is my shelter, my covering, and my glory.
I am hidden from evil, elevated by grace,
And positioned by the Spirit of Glory.
Today, I walk in divine protection and supernatural advantage, In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
