Grace for you today !
You are fashioned with Excellence!
“But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious?”
II Corinthians 3:7-8 NKJV
Here again we find the author comparing between two covenants. What is mind staggering is that he mentions the first covenant as “Ministry of death” ..that which was given through Moses ..the Ten Commandments ( because what was written and engraved on stones was ‘The Ten Commandments’ ..Deuteronomy 4:13).
The same is also mentioned in Romans 7:10 (“And the commandment, which was to bring life, I found to bring death.”)
How then can we preach/ teach/ counsel the law (which is ministry of death ) and expect life to be imparted in the hearer?
Or
How can we mix partly law and partly Grace ( deceiving ourselves thinking that we need law to correct ourself when it is producing death ) ?
If law had produced the desired results , why should Jesus come ?
Jesus Christ came saying, “..I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
My beloved , the Spirit of the Living God imparts Grace ( the life of Jesus ) in us . We are destined to reign !
Embrace Jesus =Embrace Grace = Embrace life ! Amen 🙏
