Grace For You Today
Encounter Jesus The King Of Glory And Have The Blessing Of God Which Has No Sorrow!
… “I have dwelt with Laban and stayed there until now. I have oxen, donkeys, flocks, and male and female servants; and I have sent to tell my Lord, that I may find favor in your sight.”
And He said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks.” But he said, “I will not let You go unless You bless me!”“
Genesis 32:5, 26 NKJV
Jacob ran away from his own country and from his own family because he feared that his brother would kill him as he stole his blessing, yet Jacob found a shelter to stay in a foreign land. Yes, he worked with his uncle Laban and earned many blessings such as wives, children, oxen, donkeys, flocks, male and female servants PLUS Pain!
He realised over a period of time that when God Himself blesses a man, He makes him rich but He adds no sorrow to that ( Proverbs 10:22). Alas! For this realisation it took him around 20 years.
God was faithful as He always is that even before Jacob went through these twenty years of struggles and pain, the Lord appeared to him in Bethel and assured Jacob of His Presence throughout this journey & through the great ordeal that he would face . He doesn’t force men but leaves the choice with men & gives them the free will to choose His ways that are righteous. Jesus said that His yoke is easy & His burden is light!
Jacob could have easily avoided all these struggles and pain yet he didn’t, as his mind was already set.
He preferred to be a disciple of the “Principle of lessons through hardship” which teaches life’s lessons through the hard way. “A good judgement comes from experience but experience itself comes from a bad judgement”. If we have to learn this way then it is not really wisdom in its truest biblical sense.
My beloved, today whether we have gone through the hard way or we are still going through the same, Jesus our (T’sidkenu) Righteousness is with us and in us, to direct our way making every wrong right & in His great love strives to prevent us from going through the “Principle of lessons through hardship”. Jesus is our discernment and wisdom! Amen 🙏
Keep confessing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus especially when you falter or about to make certain decisions of which you are not sure of their consequences. He is faithful & His righteousness is able to keep your feet from stumbling or being caught! Hallelujah!! Amen 🙏🏽
