Encounter Jesus The King Of Glory and Experience Great Things Through His Holy Spirit!
“Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you.”
John 16:7 NKJV
Many times while reading the life of the Lord Jesus in the 4 gospels, I have wondered how awesome it would have been to be with Lord Jesus, just the way the disciples were with Him during His earthly sojourn
But, the truth (as Lord Jesus said) is that, it is to your advantage and mine that the Lord Jesus has gone away to heaven, so that the Holy Spirit could come into your life and mine.
Why ?
This is because, the Lord Jesus could be present in one place at a given time but now, the Holy Spirit who is the Lord Jesus’ Spirit is present in every one’s life at the same time everywhere , ministering to each one’s peculiar need specifically at all times. That is why I say that the Holy Spirit is Jesus Christ unlimited! Hallelujah!!
Moreover, during the Lord Jesus’ days on earth, He was with the disciples but now the same Lord is not only with me but more so, He is in me through the Person of the Holy Spirit. He is in you and in me always. He dwells in the inside of me always even though you and I would have failed many times. This is truly awesome and beyond human comprehension!
For the Law of Moses will instruct you what to do but the Holy Spirit in you will help you how to do.
For the Law of Moses expects you to perform but the Holy Spirit focuses on the perfect obedience of Jesus that supplies grace ( His ability) to perform beyond what the law expects. Is this not to your advantage? Is it not truly awesome? Yes! It is indeed the Good News too good to be true! Amen 🙏
