“For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people, To whom He said, “This is the rest with which You may cause the weary to rest,” And, “This is the refreshing”; Yet they would not hear.”
Isaiah 28:11-12 NKJV
We have our mother tongue with which we communicate with our parents. Then we have the tongue of communication through which we interact with others.
There is still another tongue, which is God given. It’s a gift of God available to all through Jesus Christ, with which we communicate with Our Heavenly Father. This is a very private language of God where we begin to speak the most intimate things that no human can understand. As we speak this heavenly language we are refreshed and we find great inner peace and rest. Whenever I am clueless as to what to do , I begin to speak this wonderful language that gives me great clarity and confidence.
How do we speak this Heavenly Language ? First of all , we receive Jesus as our Lord and Saviour in our life . We embrace His finished work at the Cross. His blood washes us and makes us righteous. Then, we ask God the Father to bless us with the Holy Spirit in the Name of Jesus. Jesus baptises us with the Holy Spirit and then we begin to speak the heavenly language which no one understands including ourselves. Just close your eyes & keep saying , “I am the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus”. Soon you will notice that you are speaking in another tongue that brings in great joy and peace which the world can’t offer . Amen 🙏
