Excellency of Dignity and Power!
Therefore, if anyone in Christ,a new creation! old things have passed away; Behold! all things have become new. II Corinthians 5:17 ( paraphrased in line with the original Greek).
What does it mean to say that “old things have passed away” ?
Let the scripture interpret the scripture.
“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.
Revelation 21:4-5
By this we conclude that the old things that have passed away are the tears of regret, death, sorrow, cry of agony and pain.
My beloved, if you believe that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead and that Jesus is the LORD, then you are a new creation and therefore tears, crying , pain, sickness, sorrow and death are not your portion.
Say , Praise Jesus! Hallelujah!!
If you believe then confess, ”I’m a new creation in Christ Jesus—infused with His life and immortality; impregnable to infections, far superior to Satan and all his deceptive tools. Sin, sickness, sudden terror and death are not my portion. I walk in the newness of life- victorious, successful, prosperous by the power of the Holy Spirit ”! Amen 🙏
