Excellency of Dignity and Power!
““Reuben, you are my firstborn, My might and the beginning of my strength, The excellency of dignity and the excellency of power.”
Genesis 49:3 NKJV
Reuben was the first born of Jacob. According to the Scriptures, the first born has some unique blessings . Dignity and power are their portion .
Bekorah in Hebrew means “Birthright” . Birthright has two important blessings : Position and Inheritance. Heaven recognises it and earth witnesses the same.
But then , all those aren’t firstborn may feel jealous and say in their despair it’s unfair.
However, the good news to such is that Jesus Christ through His death and resurrection addresses this disparity. Every child who accepts Jesus as his / her Lord and Saviour has this Birthright. This is because the Lord Jesus was the Firstborn and came to exchange His position with us .
My beloved, Jesus Christ came to give you His birthright that brings you to the Position of great authority and a glorious inheritance . This is the month that will witness these blessings. Just believe in the Son of God & receive Him. Tell Him , “ Lord, I receive your birthright – the firstborn blessings. “
