Christ My Transforming Glory!
“Now a certain woman had a flow of blood for twelve years, When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction.” Mark 5:25, 27, 29 NKJV
This is one of the loveliest passages of the Scriptures. Perhaps, this the only instance in the Gospels where someone received healing even without asking Jesus . In fact the Lord Jesus didn’t know until power went out of Him to heal her.
She came from behind Him and touched the hem of His garment. Because, the Law disqualified her. She had an issue of blood for about 12 years and as per Leviticus 15:25 , she was unclean & isolated from the entire community. Any physical contact would cause her death.
My beloved, this trauma is very palpable today, seeing how Covid 19 isolated those contracted the virus.
But, the good news is that when the law disqualifies us, when our age disqualifies us ( too old to get married or have a child or get a job) , when society disqualifies us , the Lord Jesus who is Grace personified qualifies us by His blood that has declared us righteous . He is the remedy to all our issues. Expect your miracle now !
Remember, you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus .
