Grace For You Today!
Knowing the Father of Glory causes me to experience His Mighty Hand Performing Miracles!
“And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, ‘Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!’ So God granted him what he requested.”
— 1 Chronicles 4:10 (NKJV)
One powerful and admirable aspect of Jabez’s prayer is his clear understanding that he could not change his situation on his own. He acknowledged that only the mighty hand of God could intervene and deliver him from the adversity he faced.
The hand of God brings healing and performs miracles (Acts 4:30). It was God’s own hand that formed man from the dust of the ground (Genesis 2:7). It was Jesus’ hands that made clay with His saliva, anointed the eyes of a man born blind, and restored his sight (John 9:6)—a creative miracle, giving sight where there were no eyes before!
Just the way Jabez prayed for God’s Hand to be with him, similarly, the apostles prayed as mentioned here-
“By stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”
— Acts 4:30
They prayed in the name of the Risen Jesus—and mighty miracles happened!
This is truly awesome!
Beloved, the God of Jabez is your God and Father today. When you pray in the name of the Risen Jesus and ask Him to stretch out His hand to heal—especially your mind and every area of your life—unusual miracles and unimaginable healings are bound to follow.
Healing of the mind is foundational, because “as a man thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). In other words, our behavior flows from our thinking. To think big and beyond our limitations, we need the transforming touch of God’s mighty hand.
Your understanding of your God as a Loving Father must undergo a radical renewal. As your perception of your Daddy God changes, you will begin to walk in the reality of His divine destiny for you!
Heal our minds, O Daddy God!
