GRACE FOR YOU TODAY

RECEIVE GRACE — RECEIVE RIGHTEOUSNESS & REIGN!
Romans 5:17
“…Those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.”
This is one of the most powerful verses in the Bible, revealing the secret of a victorious life—reigning in life through Jesus Christ.
The parable of the two sons that we have been meditating on connects beautifully with this truth.
The younger son needed abundance of grace. His problem was guilt and the consciousness of his failure.
He was saying:
“I am unworthy because I failed.”
The elder son needed the gift of righteousness. Although he was already a son and an heir, his problem was a sense of entitlement based on his performance.
He was saying:
“I deserve because I performed.”
But both sons needed to learn one important thing:
RECEIVE!
Grace says:
“Receive what you could never earn.”
The gift of righteousness says:
“Stop trying to earn what God has already given.”
Grace deals with the consciousness of the past.
Righteousness establishes your present standing before God.
And when grace and righteousness are received, you can stand before your Father—not in shame and not in self-effort—but with the confidence of a son.
Receiving is the pathway to reigning!
Today, do not struggle to qualify.
Receive abundance of grace.
Receive the gift of righteousness.
And reign in life through Jesus Christ!
PRAYER
Daddy God, thank You for the abundance of Your grace and for the gift of righteousness. I freely receive all that Christ has accomplished for me. Deliver me from striving, shame, self-effort, and performance-consciousness, and establish me in the confidence of Your grace and righteousness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
PROCLAMATION
I receive abundance of grace! I receive the gift of righteousness! I do not earn God’s blessings—I receive them by grace. Therefore, I reign in life through Jesus Christ!
