God Who Hastens!!
“Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, “Jeremiah, what do you see?” And I said, “I see a branch of an almond tree.” Then the LORD said to me, “You have seen well, for I am ready to perform My word.”” Jeremiah 1:11-12 NKJV
God’s performance of His word of promise takes active cooperation of the believer. Jeremiah’s ability to see it correctly hastened God to perform His word .
What did Jeremiah see ? He saw a branch of an almond tree . This signifies Jesus Christ !
Yes my beloved , when we see Jesus in the Word , God hastens to perform His word of promise to you.
If you look at the context of the above verses, you will realise that Israel had plunged herself into moral depravity and idolatry, causing God’s judgement , which was eventually executed through Babylon .
But the Good News of the gospel is that when you see Jesus , the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world , who absorbed the total punishment of God’s wrath on sin , you will experience total favor of God upon you . God hastens His word of favor upon you to manifest. When you see Jesus , you are not judged but justified.
The assurance that all your sins were judged on the body of Jesus and His blood has washed you completely , brings upon you the gift of speaking in tongues and prophecy. Confessing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus is the declaration that you are completely forgiven and God is on your side. This positions you to receive every blessing especially the gift of speaking in Tongues. Speaking in Tongues is a free gift of God to every believer. Amen 🙏
