SONSHIP GIVES YOU IDENTITY; RIGHTEOUSNESS GIVES YOU BOLDNESS
Romans 3:21–24
“But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed… the righteousness of God through faith of Jesus Christ… being justified freely by His grace.”
The Spirit of Sonship tells you:
“You belong to the Father.”
The gift of righteousness tells you:
“You stand before the Father without guilt, shame or fear of judgement.”
Sonship and righteousness belong together.
Sonship establishes your identity.
Righteousness establishes your standing. Righteousness makes us bold to come before Him.
Through sin, man experienced guilt, shame and separation.
But through Jesus Christ, we have received the righteousness of God.
This righteousness is not something we achieve through human performance.
It is a gift received by grace.
Therefore, you do not stand righteous before God because you have performed perfectly.
You stand because Jesus obeyed perfectly and has made you righteous.
Jesus restores both :
Our relationship as sons and our standing through righteousness.
Righteousness ( Right standing with God) gives the son confidence. A guilty conscience makes a person hide from God.
The Spirit of Sonship gives Righteousness its fullest expression before the world.
Therefore, stand boldly.
You are a son before the Father and the righteousness of God in Christ before the world.
PRAYER
Daddy God, thank You for the gift of righteousness through Jesus Christ. Reveal Jesus in me. I submit to the Holy Spirit that the world may see Christ in me and I in Him. In Jesus’ name. Amen 🙏
PROCLAMATION
I am a son of God!
I have received the gift of righteousness!
I stand before my Father without condemnation.
I refuse guilt, shame and fear.
I am accepted in Christ.
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!
I stand boldly in my inheritance!
