The Consciousness of the Power of the New You !
Acts of the Apostles 3:4–8
Peter looked straight at him… ‘Look at us.’ Then Peter said, ‘ ..but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.’
This moment is not just a miracle story; it is a revelation of the resurrection consciousness.
What Peter Understood
Peter did not act from sympathy or hope alone. He acted from understanding.
- Peter knew that the resurrection of Jesus had activated a new capacity within him.
- He understood that resurrection life is not passive—it is active, authoritative, and present.
- That is why he first said, “Look at us” This was not self-promotion; it was an invitation to the reality of Resurrection-enabled-Capacity.
Peter was saying, in essence:
“See what resurrection life looks like in a human being.”
When Peter spoke, he was not asking God to act—he was releasing what had already been deposited through resurrection.
This same resurrection life is now in you.
Here is the grace available to you today:
- You are not waiting for power—you are carrying it.
- You are not trying to become new—you are new.
- The life that raised Christ from the dead is not dormant in you; it is responsive to faith and understanding.
Prayer:
Abba Father,
I thank You that the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in me.
I receive today the grace to live consciously in resurrection power. In Jesus’ name! Amen.
Confession:
Today, I declare that the resurrection life of Jesus Christ is active in me.
I walk in divine capacity, not limitation, and I speak with authority, not fear.
As Peter knew, I know that grace has enabled me—what I carry restores, lifts, and transforms. Today, I rise, I walk, and I manifest the power of the new creation life within me. Amen.
