✨ The Spirit of Glory Dwells in You — Revealing the New You!
📖 Romans 8:8–9
“Those who are in the flesh cannot please God… But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit…”
What Does “Flesh” Really Mean?
“Flesh” refers to human nature operating independently of God — dominated by sin, weakness, and self-reliance.
It includes:
• The sin nature
• Self-effort (trying to please God without the Spirit)
• Natural human strength apart from God
• The old way of living rooted in Adam
At times, “flesh” can also refer to the physical body.
But in this passage, it primarily speaks of a spiritual realm and condition.
What Does “In the Flesh” Mean?
It describes:
• A person still under Adam
• A person without the indwelling Spirit
• A person whose governing realm is sin
This is not about behavior.
It is about spiritual location, identity, and realm.
It is a state of being, not a bad day.
The Believer’s Position
But Every born-again believer is no longer in the flesh rather he is in the Spirit.
Being “not in the flesh” means:
• I am no longer defined by the flesh
• I am no longer controlled by the flesh
• I am no longer positioned in that realm
What Does “In the Spirit” Mean?
It means:
• You are under a new law
• You are under a new power system
• You have a new source of life
The Holy Spirit is not merely around you —
He dwells in you.
He is now the governing authority and defines the environment of His life in you.
You are no longer a person trying to reach God —
You are now a person in whom God dwells and through whom He desires to express Himself.
“The consciousness that I am in the Spirit and the confession thereof makes me manifest Christ naturally.”
🙏 Prayer
Father, I thank You that I am no longer in the flesh but in the Spirit.
Thank You that Your Spirit dwells in me and governs my life. Help me live daily conscious of this new realm and new identity in Christ.

✨ Confession of Faith
I am not in the flesh — I am in the Spirit.
I am not defined by Adam — _I am defined by Christ that Christ is my Righteousness.
The Holy Spirit dwells in me.
He is my life, my power, and my governing authority.
God lives in me and expresses Himself through me.
Praise the Risen Jesus!
