“The Spirit of Glory imparts success.”
“And let the beauty of the Lord our God be upon us, And establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands.”
Psalms 90:17 (NKJV)
Psalm 90 is a prayer of Moses, the man of God. He concludes this prayer with a powerful request—that the Beauty of the Lord would rest upon Israel, so that the work of their hands would be established.
Beloved, the Beauty of the Lord is the Spirit of Glory.
When the Spirit of Glory rests upon us, our efforts receive divine backing, and the Lord Himself establishes the work of our hands. What was ordinary becomes fruitful; what was uncertain becomes secure.
The Scripture reveals that the Lord teaches us to profit
(Isaiah 48:17). This means success is not by struggle alone, but by wisdom, revelation, and divine direction imparted by the Spirit of Glory.
To be established means more than survival, it speaks of exaltation, recognition, and divine confirmation
(2 Samuel 5:12).
As we journey through this year, may the Spirit of Glory rest upon you, and may the works of your hands be firmly established, lifted, and affirmed by God—this day, this year and for the rest of your days. Amen. 🙏
Prayer
Father, in the Name of Jesus,
I thank You for the gift of Your Spirit. I ask that the Spirit of Glory rest upon my life afresh. Let Your beauty be evident in all that I do. Teach me to profit, guide my steps with wisdom and revelation, and establish the works of my hands. I receive divine exaltation, divine order, and lasting results in every assignment You have given me. Amen.
Confession of Faith
I declare that the Spirit of Glory rests upon me.
The beauty of the Lord is evident in my life.
The works of my hands are established by God.
I am taught to profit and led by divine wisdom.
I walk in exaltation, favor, and lasting success.
This year and always, I flourish by the Spirit of Glory.
