The Spirit of Grace revealed Christ Crucified!

Key Scriptures:
(Zechariah 12:10; Galatians 2:21; Galatians 3:13-14)

“And I will pour on the house of David… the Spirit of grace and supplication; then they will look on Me whom they pierced…”
Zechariah 12:10

The greatest work of the Spirit of Grace is to open our eyes to behold Christ crucified.
Until Christ is revealed, grace remains only a concept.
But when the Holy Spirit enlightens our hearts, we see our sins punished on the body of Jesus and we have become righteousness in the sight of God.

Paul therefore declared, “If righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain” (Galatians 2:21). No amount of human effort can make anyone righteous before God. Righteousness is received only through faith in the finished work of Christ.

This is why the prophet Zechariah foresaw Israel’s future salvation. When the Spirit of Grace is poured out, they will look upon the One whom they pierced, recognize Him as the Messiah, and mourn in repentance. Revelation precedes salvation.

The same principle applies to every believer today. As the Spirit of Grace unveils Christ crucified, we receive the gift of righteousness, and through that righteousness the blessing of Abraham flows into our lives.

Punchline: The Spirit of Grace opens our eyes to Christ crucified; Embracing Christ’s crucifixion makes us righteousness, and Righteousness received releases the blessing of Abraham.

Prayer

Daddy God, thank You for pouring out upon me the Spirit of Grace and supplication. Enlighten the eyes of my heart to continually behold Christ and His finished work. Establish me in the righteousness that comes by grace through faith alone, and let every Abrahamic blessing find full expression in my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

Proclamation

I submit to the Spirit of Grace who enlightens my heart to know Christ crucified. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I do not stand before God by my works but by His grace. Therefore, I walk in the blessing of Abraham, justified, accepted, favoured, and empowered to manifest God’s glory. Amen.
