Christ in me – the Fulness of God !
“When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.” Luke 5:4-6
An encounter with Jesus will unearth the treasures of heaven just a moment. Simon had already encountered Jesus before, just the way we read in yesterday’s message. He was given a new name ‘ Peter’. He had found his true identity and now he is all set to witness his true inheritance of God in Christ Jesus.
Simon, the Peter along with his fellow fishermen had toiled all night and could not catch a single fish. They were greatly discouraged and the whole night’s efforts fetched them nothing.
But, the truth that Peter didn’t realize till then was that “a moment of favour is far greater than hard labour all night”. His encounter with Jesus, who is full of favour and truth, brought him to this astonishing truth. Amen!
It is important to work hard but sometimes hard work can’t take you to where favour alone will take you .
Yes my beloved, seek to behold Jesus – i.e have a revelation of Jesus that comes through the Holy Spirit and you will experience unparalleled, unshakable favour that will remain permanently upon you & in you. This is your day & favour surrounds you like a shield. Your set time of favour has come to experience the net breaking abundance!
Remember, a moment of favour is far greater and way beyond a lifetime of labour.
Favour of God made the wretched Simon as a wealthy Peter! Now it’s your “Turnaround Time”. Hallelujah! Amen 🙏
