Grace for you today !
God Who Hastens!!
““So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, And praise the name of the LORD your God, Who has dealt wondrously with you; And My people shall never be put to shame.”
Joel 2:25-26 NKJV
I just love these verses !
It is the injurer who usually restores to the injured However, God takes it on Himself to restore us even though He hasn’t stolen or injured or harmed anyone at any time .
It is the devil who steals , kills and destroys but the Lord Jesus came into this world to give life and life in abundance. (John 10:10). He restores us abundantly. This is amazing ! He restores more than we have lost in the first place . We lost because we gave in to the devil to steal our blessing & lose our dominion. This has been a recurring story from the time of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
But the question still remains as to how can God restore when He is not the reason for our fall ?
To understand this, the original version (Hebrew) of the above portion of the scripture need to be looked at. It translates as “I will restore to you ( Aleph Tav) .“ This means that God will restore us on account of Aleph Tav ( whose is Jesus ) , who took the place of both the injurer and injured , also at the same time earned our blessings through His complete obedience to God in all aspects and gave it all to us freely ( That’s Grace! ). Hallelujah! What an awesome Jesus we serve !
My beloved , begin to see Jesus , hidden in the Old Testament of the Bible and God will surely hasten His word of promise in your life !
