“But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

3. Deliverance from the presence of sin:

Jesus Christ came the first time into this world to deliver us from the penalty of sin . He is the Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world. He is the sacrificial Lamb who was slain on account of the sins of the whole world that includes you and me. God punished sin on the body of Jesus so that we are delivered from the penalty of sin if we believe and receive God’s Gift of eternal life – Jesus Christ.

He lives in us who believe in Him and thereby we experience deliverance from the power of sin.

He will appear again, the second time to transform our present body (which is subject to temptation of sin, sickness and death because of the presence of sin in this world ) into His glorious body that will never be subject to sin, sickness and death.  His second appearance through His power subdues all things including the presence of sin. Hallelujah! What a glorious & forever experience that will be ! *He will wipe away all our tears & everlasting joy will be our portion !

My beloved, let’s look forward eagerly to receiving Him who will appear again very soon . This hope of earnest, positive expectation keeps us pure daily ( 1 John 3:3) & also to live a lifestyle far above mediocrity ( Philippians 4:13).  Amen 🙏

“We know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin. For when a man dies, he is freed (loosed, delivered) from [the power of] sin [among men]. Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin and your relation to it broken, but alive to God [living in unbroken fellowship with Him] in Christ Jesus.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭6‬-‭7‬, ‭11‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

2. Deliverance from the power of sin:

For every fruit there is a root, so also all our actions have a root cause.  Many times we focus on our actions rather than the root cause that is behind these actions. What we cannot see are the roots under the soil.

David discovered this and with tears spoke to God that he was conceived in sin in his mother’s womb ( Psalms 51:5). We are sinners not because we committed sins ( doing), we are sinners by conception ( being). Unless we deal with the root ( being) , we will continue in our doing (fruit). We not only need forgiveness of our sins ( doing ) but also deliverance from our very sinful being. This being (nature) of ours ( inherited at conception) is what the author calls as the “old man”.

My beloved, the Good news is that Jesus not only died “for our sins “( actions/ doing) but also “as us” ( our very essence / DNA). For God made Jesus who knew no sin ( in Him was no sin) to become sin in our stead so that we might become righteous with His righteousness ( righteousness in essence / being ) – 2 Corinthians 5:21. This is what the author writes as the “new creation” – 2 Corinthians 5:17.

My beloved disown your old identity by declaring that your old was crucified with Christ at the Cross and embrace your new identity. You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus is your new identity. You are a new creation, old things have passed away and all things have become new is your present stand.
This confession breaks the power of sin and you will emerge invincible through the progressive revelation of Jesus the Machiach!  Amen 🙏

“But God shows and clearly proves His [own] love for us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) died for us.  Therefore, since we are now justified (acquitted, made righteous, and brought into right relationship with God) by Christ’s blood,  how much more [certain is it that] we shall be saved by Him from the indignation and wrath of God.” Romans‬ ‭5‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

My beloved, there are three deliverances that God offers the whole human race because of His great and unfathomable love :
1. Deliverance from the penalty of sin
2. Deliverance from the power of sin
3. Deliverance from the presence of sin.

As explained yesterday, the primary freedom that everyone needs is from sin. God sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ to die for our sin & sins on the Cross.

Christ died for us ( for our sins) and as us ( for the sin nature)!

Christ died for us to deliver us from the penalty of sin. He chose to die while we were still sinners.  _He didn’t wait for us that we would first change ourselves before He died nor did He make a conditional offer for deliverance. _ Because of His great love for us, he chose to die for us while we were still sinners .

Jesus the Mashiach became the lamb of God who took away all our sins and made us righteous forever by His own blood.
Today, the sinners aren’t in the hands of an angry God, rather the sinners are pleaded to accept the great love of a loving Father demonstrated through the sacrifice of His Son.

Dearly beloved, there is no man on earth without sin. But there is one Man the Lord Jesus Christ who was absolutely sinless & yet who paid the penalty of sin in our stead, by shedding His own blood. I join with Him to plead with you to consider and receive God’s amazing love : the forgiveness of sins and be delivered from the penalty of sin.The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses you from all sin and makes you right in the sight of God. This is the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!

“We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and He will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. Sin is no longer your master, for you no longer live under the requirements of the law. Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬, ‭14‬ ‭NLT‬‬

The primary and the foremost freedom that we all need is from the slavery of sin / addiction .  We lose control of our own temperament. We lose control over our sensual pleasure. We lose the control over own thoughts . Sometimes some thoughts become so compulsive that we are enslaved to these thoughts and they in turn lead to feelings resulting in actions. This is what Jesus meant when He spoke to the Jews who thought that they were slaves to no man ( John 8:32-36) .

Through Adam came the fall of the whole human race but through Jesus Christ came the deliverance from sin and dominion over sin and death.  Hallelujah!

Jesus the Christ alone can deliver us from this vicious cycle of sin and death.
This is because He became sin with our sinfulness at the Cross. He never sinned but He willingly received all our sins and put an end to sin’s dominion. 
Secondly, He made us righteous with His own untainted righteousness of God. When we accept this great gift of righteousness of God (even though we haven’t done any righteous act ) we come to realize the authority : our dominion over sin and death. 
This acceptance of Truth from our side is expressed through our confession.
So then when we confess, “ I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus” sin loses its grip and righteousness reigns through our confession .

My beloved , one time confession may not result in seeing the desired result . Sometimes it may take vehement and incessant speaking until you walk in complete liberty . Hallelujah!  Amen 🙏

“Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor . You gave them charge of everything you made, putting all things under their authority…”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭8‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬

When God made the first man Adam and then Eve out of man, He made them a little lower than Himself. But they were limited by time, space and matter.
Although, they were under the law of gravity, living in a body adaptable to the conditions of this planet Earth, yet they were in constant communication with God, walking on earth as divine beings & as the crown of His creation.

When God was about to crown them with honour and glory, by giving them the fullest authority, translating from terrestrial beings to celestial beings, Alas ! They sinned and fell short of this glory and lost the dominion! Mankind is still experiencing the repercussions of Adam’s fall.

However, God who planned everything before the foundation of the world, sent His Only begotten Son Jesus to redeem mankind from this great fall and also to restore him back to the honor and glory with the fullest authority (just as the Psalmist writes). HALLELUJAH!

Today, you are redeemed by the Blood of Jesus Christ and are made righteous forever to reign !  Awesome!!
This week greets and welcomes you to have this honor, glory and authority. All things that have been intimidating you in the past ceases in its power and you reign supreme in Jesus name !  Amen 🙏

This is the Greatest Hope for every believer who has received the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus as a free gift that soon the Lord Jesus Christ will transform our present physical body into His Glorious body.

Our present physical body is subject to fatigue, pain, lack ,thirst, hunger, sweat, aging, degeneration etc. It can be affected by any sickness and disease and even death. It is limited by time, space and matter.

However, the Glorious body like that of Lord Jesus Christ Himself will be our permanent body very soon.
Then we will be limitless like God and our bodies cannot be subject to pain, tiredness, lack, thirst, hunger sweat, aging, degeneration etc. We can never be affected by diseases , degeneration and even death. We will transcend time, space and matter.  Hallelujah!

My beloved, there is so much to share of this glorious future inhabitation . The Holy Spirit will enlighten our understanding to see Jesus in order to be Jesus!
The constant awareness of the Mashiach ( Christ) in us gives us this Glorious hope ! As Jesus is so are we on this earth!! Amen 🙏

Christ in me – Rising in Glory!

And He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus is the Christ / the Mashiach / the Anointed One because of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit not only came upon Jesus but remained on Him forever. The Holy Spirit never left Jesus.

Jesus is Who He is because of the Holy Spirit.  He was conceived in the womb of Mother Mary through the Holy Spirit and throughout His life, it was the Holy Spirit who took the center stage.

When all abandoned Jesus, the Holy Spirit did not leave Him. Through the Spirit, Jesus went to hell and He was raised from the dead by the Holy Spirit  ( 1 Peter 3:18,19).

The law of sowing and reaping is universal & it cannot be reversed.
However, when Jesus rose from the dead through the Holy Spirit, He reversed this law . 
Jesus was sown in dishonour,ridicule & shame but the Holy Spirit raised Him in Glory. He was sown in weakness and helplessness but the Holy Spirit raised Him in power. So also today my beloved, you can experience this reversal in your life and witness the following verse :

“Instead of your shame you shall have double honor, And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion. Therefore in their land they shall possess double; Everlasting joy shall be theirs. ” Isaiah‬ ‭61‬:‭7‬ ‭‬‬
As we come to the end of this month, I pronounce this blessing of double honor and possession of your inheritance and everlasting joy in Jesus name !
You are rising in glory because Mashiach is in you!  Amen 🙏

When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water;
and behold, the heavens were opened to Him,
and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him.
And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” 
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus humbled Himself to be baptized in the water to fulfill all righteousness in the sight of God.
The moment Jesus did what was right in the sight of God, three things happened :
1. The heavens were opened to Him signifying 24*7 supply of God’s favour and God’s resources to address all issues of life.
2. The Holy Spirit who is God’s Personal and Special Treasure is now to abide upon and has come in to dwell forever .
3. God’s personal witness of His good pleasure over Jesus is also to the entire universe.
Hallelujah!

My beloved, even so it is today. When you do what is right in the sight of God (His righteousness), all these three blessings as stated above become yours.

Today, believing and receiving what Jesus did in your place at the Cross is what is right in the sight of God: He died your death, He was punished for your sins, He shed His blood to make you righteous forever. This is the Righteousness of God in Christ!  Hallelujah!!

When you confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, you have the heavens always open to address every need of your life in an accelerated speed. Your prayers can never be hindered. You become eligible to receive the Most Treasured Gift of the Father – the Holy Spirit. You have God’s approval and attestation over you life 24*7, simply because you believe and confess that you are the righteousness of God on account of Jesus the Mashiach. Amen 🙏

“Then Jesus came from Galilee to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him. And John tried to prevent Him, saying, “I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me?” But Jesus answered and said to him, “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness .” Then he allowed Him.” Matthew‬ ‭3‬:‭13‬-‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus came to be baptized by John the Baptist at river Jordan. During those days the people of Israel came confessing their sins and were baptized in water to become right with God. This was the righteousness revealed by God to John and the same was preached by him.
But, the irony was how could Jesus who knew no sin, who did no sin and in Him was no sin, come to be baptized by John for the repentance of sins? John was totally perplexed.

The people of Israel were expecting their long awaited Messiah (The Mashiach / The Christ) to come . All of them knew that their Messiah will be their awesome King & Savior, who will deliver them from oppression. But they could hardly imagine that their Messiah will come to take their sins upon Himself & will die for their sins first of all. Even John could not understand this in the first instance when Jesus came to him to be baptized and tried to stop Him. It is after he allowed Jesus to be baptized that his eyes were opened to the greatest Truth and he proclaimed “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” ( not just the sins of Israel but also for the whole world)

By submitting to the baptism, Jesus committed Himself to become the Lamb i.e to become sin with our sinfulness so that we could become righteous with His Righteousness in Christ ( Mashiach) 2 Corinthians 5:21.

My beloved, believing and receiving the Lamb who was slain for your sins so that you may become right with God is the true Righteousness in the sight of God.
By confessing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, you activate your faith to see your desired results.

This week you will surely witness your desired miracle by this awesome confession in Jesus name! Amen 🙏

“Again, the devil took Him up on an exceedingly high mountain, and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. And he said to Him, “All these things I will give You if You will fall down and worship me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4‬:‭8‬-‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What the devil was offering Jesus was the Crown without the Cross. Had Jesus fallen for the bait of the devil, all of us would have perished. He went through the greatest ordeal of life – the Cross, so that we might reign. By His own blood He washed all our sins forever and made us as Kings and Priests.
(Revelation 1:5,6 and Hebrews 10:10,12)

Jesus didn’t come to earth for Himself but for us. He was anointed ( Mashiach) by God with the Holy Spirit. He was led up by the Holy Spirit to conquer the devil. Therefore, He was anointed with Power for He returned in the Power of the Holy Spirit( Luke 4:14). Then He went about doing good healing all who were oppressed by the devil ( Acts 10:38).

My beloved, God wants you to be anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power in the same way as He did for Jesus. If the Lord Jesus needed the Holy Spirit, we need Him all the more.
Jesus is who He is because of the Holy Spirit.
Even so, if you allow the Holy Spirit, you will be who you ought to be, beyond human ability & expectations and surely the world will marvel( Acts 4:13).

When the Holy Spirit comes upon you and dwells in you then Christ (Mashaich) in you becomes the outflowing of endless life to the ends of the world in Jesus name! Amen 🙏
